I'm just looking forward to getting the show on the road, personally.

How many Were-people are in our group? More we have, the more varied the dna is for when I take the best features of all of you to turn into my own super-beast. But then again, I only really need any sort of non human, or even human, for that... :)

I concur.

Okay...uh...I was about to say I think we have enough people to start, but I believe we are past the 'enough people to start' stage and more in the 'OMG what am I thinking?!' stage, so look for this aberration to start either tomorrow [sunday] or Monday. I'm still accepting sign-ups, however. I figure if this is going to be a train wreck, might as well make the body count as high as possible.

IT IS TUESDAY, TOASTY! GET TO WORK!

I found the other character I like... SO I'M NOW TORN BETWEEN THE TWO!

Name: S
RP the Character is From: Genesis of Maniacs

Krylo: Well, unless Taken is completely and utterly immune to fear, he really has no choice but to run before the Horsemen. Think something like the redead in Legend of Zelda...only instead of make you freeze with terror, it makes you run the freak away with terror. However, if that doesn't work for you, I'm okay with your back-up characters...except Cummingham. I'm just paranoid about time manipulation...and quasi-immortality.

Wizardcat: All that is assuming, of course, that magic works the same everywhere. I've already mentioned the fact that the magic energy here is messed up enough that everyone's magic is nerfed. There is also the minor fact that you are on a different world than you where before.

Well, except AB's character...because, well...how the heck do you nerf a high school girl who just barely learned how to shoot straight?

Checking the sign-up for that RP again, it still seems fairly clear that, debates on magic aside, you can only summon a specific species/class of monster per each magic. What do you think that chances are of those species being there to be summoned in the first place. In fact, I can guaran-freakin'-tee that there isn't. And I'm not just saying that to nerf your character, I'm saying that because that's what falls in with the setting I already established. So, really, when I say that your summoning doesn't work now but it might later, I say that after already reading the sign-up thread for the RP that character came from, and fitting those rules to the world for this RP. Everyone is getting nerfed to some extent.

Krylo again: I'M WORKING ON IT! if you people would stop arguing with me and asking about the lunar cycle, maybe I could get this started on time! :p

Ex.: I'm still trying to figure out what to do with a moon, giving the world setting. For the moment, just consider it daytime, and as such, not visible moon, no moon vibes...no moon nothing, for the time being. I'll figure it out.

Rhiya: ...I find that choice of character extremely ironic, considering the character I'm going to use as my main for this RP...which I'm introducing in the OP.

...Which I am going to go work on right now.

And I was going to have him introduce you to the Fonz, too... but nah, I decided on Darilk.

Though knowing that it's a supernatural fear, I think I now need to consult my spirit guides before deciding between them.

Damn straight you are!

Edit: Less fixing broken VB Code and more making the first post!

...I just like feeling important.

Rhiya Ravenwing 01-13-2009 04:21 AM

Actually, I prefer to take S out of the bag than Tantalum. It'll save you some hair about werebeastery 'n' whatnot.

Toastburner B 01-13-2009 05:10 AM

Okay, it's up.

Krylo: That's cool...though, I should note, your summon is in a similar situation as Wizardcat...which is to say, you won't be able to summon it for the time being.

Rhiya: That's fine by me.

Alright...the Horsemen

Appearance: http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z...d/Horsemen.jpg

Powers:

invulnerable: To date, no one has been able to slow down one of the Horsemen, let alone kill one. No spell, shell, or blade has proven effective against the stalkers of the Waste.

aura of fear: Like some other monsters, the Horsemen project an aura of fear about them. However, this aura is extremely powerful, causing blind fear and sheer panic in even the bravest individual. Some people will be able to muster the courage to face a single pass of the monsters...which will, of course, prove futile, which will only increase the power of the fear. Oddly enough, the fear probably saves more people than it kills, as it also serves as a warning that a Horseman is nearby.

Senses: For all of their strengths, the Horseman aren't without weakness...they are primarily sight-based hunters, and are seemingly near deaf. If you can make a Horsemen loose visual contact with your for few minutes, it will give up in search for other prey. Easier said than done, as they have extremely sharp eyes.

"Once you cross that bridge, my friend...": Much like the Headless Horseman, the Horsemen of the wastes are powerless to cross the river separating the Wastes form Wayward. Unlike the Headless Horseman, they don't have pumpkins to throw at escape prey. Once you cross the river, you are safe from them utterly and completely.

Krylo 01-13-2009 05:15 AM

Yeah, I chose that particular inception of Darilk for two reasons.

1) It was the original (the other merely had demons swapped for something else)
2) To make you worry about the summon.

Darilk can't actually summon it. It was meant to be summoned from him by another character in the RP.

Still not sure between he and Taken, though. They're similar enough to make it difficult, but different enough to make it important.

Relm Zephyrous 01-13-2009 05:58 AM

Alright, what time of day is it, and much much more importantly, how bright is it out? I'm gonna get my post up pretty shortly.

Its vital for me to know about lighting most of the time, due to the fact that about half of Serra's entire weakness base is her light sensitivity. Its bad, we're talking has to squint to see in a dimly lit room and skin literally turning red and burning almost on contact with sunlight bad. Fortunately, she usually has measures to make sue to get around this.
