What happened to Warbot?

Its been a while since I checked in on this, but I recall a project called "Warbot in Accounting" was to follow 8-bit theater. Someone was mentioning that 8BT was near its end, so I decided to come into the project forum to find info on Warbot, only to find that there was nothing here.

Whats the status on the project? Is it just sitting still completely until 8-bit gets done, or has it been cancelled?

Back when that thread was around, there were little digital dinosaurs made of 1 and 0s stomping around eating stray spambots.

So, is there any new news, as I'm curious too.

I just got who the Tau in your avatar were, despite being a fan of the 40K setting. Probably because I saw the avatar before I got into 40K.

Still. *headesk*

What he said was essentially there'd be no Warbot until either 8-Bit finishes, or we get a spiffy new website design that can support two active comics at once.

I believe said spiffy website design and 8-bit finishing are theoretically going to coincide.

This is what I believe however.

As of December 18th, Brian's forcasting Q1 2009 for the new site design. Back on May 7th, he was projecting the summer. Utilizing these projections and the associated delays, I can calculate the actual release date.

My calculations predict that the new site will be done and live right about... December 21st, 2012.

Huh. That's... peculiar.

Oh, those wacky Mayans!

Hell, at this point I'm not sure if Warbot will be the next project because Zack has a ton of stuff going on. Alternatively, Warbot shouldn't be terribly taxing for him, so maybe he can squeeze it into his schedule after all. He's never implied that he couldn't work on it, so perhaps that points toward the latter.

Brian, I hope you feel proud that Mayans and Nostrodomas are so confident in your comic writing that they think your new Warbot project will herald the end of the world.

Either it'll be that or the next time 8 bit ends.
