'Jolly' Jack the Ripper v. Hannibal 'the Cannibal' Lechter
You know what I'd really like to know, is who wins the moral victory? |
I think Jack would win the moral battle. He killed his prosititues swift, not torturing them. Hannibal, if I remember correctly, would torture his victims, both mentally and physically.
|
Choosing between the lesser of two evils is still choosing evil.
But I personally favor Hannibal. |
New fight:
A skilled Japanese Samurai vs. a trained Drow warrior. a ninja vs. a trained Drow warrior |
With or without magic? For both sides? What kidn of samurai, ninaj are you talking about?
|
Feudal Japanese ninja/samurai..........and the drow warrior is limited to his magic equipment and spell-like abilities. Ninja has access to his vast arsenal of tricks

Food for thought about the DBZ thing. In the show, the characters are constantly disappearing and reappearing a short distance away. If they were just moving very fast, they would cause a large wind or something. But, they just disappear then reappear, indicating that they did some sort of worm hole/hyper jump thing, meaning they are moving faster then the speed of light for a sort distance. While when they are going far distance, they just fly through the air faster at Mach (Insert some high number here).
Anyway, Jack probably has the fighting advantage. Hannibal is smart, but Jack is a ripper. As for Drow vs. Ninja/Samurai (Which doesn't even make sense...), Drow vs. Human, drow wins. |
It wouldn't necessarily have to be faster than the speed of light. It only has to be faster than our eyes can capture the image, flip it, send it to the occipital lobe, and process the information in our brain. Now that pretty much all pulses across our synapses, but changing to each separate portion would take some time in itself, so I would say that happens a little bit slower than the speed of light. Also, we won't necessarily -conciously- percieve things that move really really fast. Our subconcious may still catch it, which is where the reasoning for subliminal messaging is supposed to come from (it doesn't work.) Anyway, Bruce Lee throws a punch in one of his movies that you can't even see as I recall, and this is a long time before special effects were, well, special. They only have to be moving faster than our brain feels like processing the info, and don't forget, there's almost always a blur.
Anyway; how about Cat Woman versus Cheetara of the Thunder Cats? |
