Well, I guess I can use this post for something in that case.
The newer books are starting to see a change in Drizzt. He's using the hunter a lot more for just regular fights. Yes, I know he thinks his friends to be dead, but the point is that he's learning to use that rage more. He's also said some things that would lead one to believe that he was in that state of mind (i.e. barbarian rage) a lot during the earlier books too. Anyway; I stand by my earlier point. He's still the best his race has produced, except for maybe Jarlaxle, but that's hard to say since we don't really know what that one is capable of. |

edit: Many apologies. I should have edited this into my other post. I blame Hitler. edit 2: Which reminds me; have any of you ever seen the Hitler vs Stalin comic? I believe it was produced during WW II as Soviet propaganda. It's good old DBZ action: http://www.comics.aha.ru/rus/stalin/1.html . Upon closer inspection however, I see that I am in fact wrong about it being propaganda. Too bad. |
THAT was funny.........it would have been even funnier if FDR and Churchill got involved too, though...
Jarlaxle is one of the few drow who could beat a ninja, for he is even more full of tricks and sneaky ninja-style coolness than even the most potent of Ninjitsu masters. He also managed to beat Zaknafein once, and THAT is an accomplishment......(even though he got lucky, he was much younger then). this fight is between your average drow warrior and your average samurai, technically. Drizzt may be using the Hunter more, but like I said, he uses it "when in a state of grief or rage", how do you think he felt when he thought Bruenor had died? |
Oh wow...that was the best comic EVER! I just wish I could read it. And who was that guy with the machine gun?
|
You can read it... the captions below are the translations... I'm too lazy to read again, but they explained that the guy with the machine gun was the head of the SS or something...
|
I read that a long time ago...
It was wierd... Anyway... How about... Musashi (With all his stories being true) vs. Lancelot (With all his stories being true). But, if I have my King Arthur stories wrong, and Lancelot was not the best of the Round Table, then Musashi vs. King Arthur. |
Galahad was actually the best at the round table, but until Galahad Lancelot was.
And they're about equally matched, so it's just japanese armor and weapons versus european armor and weaposn... which are also about equally matched. However, if you want to make it arthur, arthur would win. He's not as skilled, but he has excalibur. |
Yeah. And that scabbard, until he lost it.
|
But Excalibur's counterpart is the Sword of Luminescince.
Remember that Brave Fencer Musashi is based around the real Musashi, and according to the tale of Musashi, there were Five Rings(just like in BFM, althought they were called "scrolls" in America) and a Sword of Luminescense. And the legendary Musashi killed a man at the age of eight, while BFM is a kid. And the legendary Musashi's nemesis is Kojiro, just like in BFM. Squaresoft put a lot of Japanese history into that game. |
I guess because the current arguments 1) Bore me 2) Are outside my expertise, I'll throw my own in there
Thor vs. Ares (That's the Norse god Thor, not some comic book character, btw) |
