But, Beetlejuice also had a bunch of tricks up his sleeve.

Even if Beetlejuice does fight, people from Yu Yu Hakuso are basically weaker versions of DBZ characters. Tagura made a giant hole (At least 100 yards) with a punch, and he wasn't even at full power. Yusuke later kills him (And later, he fights even tougher people and wins).

But has Yusuke ever really fought an actual ghost/spirit? I know he's kicked plenty of demon ass, but I'v never seen him take on a ghost...

And Beetlejuice (movie one) could morph himself anywhere, and turn anything into anything. I say he zippers Yusuke's mouth shut, then wraps him up like a mummy and beats him like a pinata.

I don't think you quite understand FZ. Toguro hit a building at under half his full power and DESTROYED it. Yusuke is a physical match for him, being able to take shots like that without getting hurt, as well as delivering blows like that.

Beetlejuice could do his worst and Yusuke wouldn't even feel it.

Also, Yusuke has no qualms with killing either. He's an anti-hero... and he often kills his demonic opponents with no thoughts to doing the contrary. Only time he doesn't kill them is when he respects them or someone stops him.

But as BM brought up, Beetlejuice can manipulate reality to whatever will best aid him. He would probably encase [sic?] Yusuke in a solid block of concrete so he couldn't move, then hurl the concrete into the sun. Thus, if he gets taken out fast, Yusuke wins, but if Beetlejuice has time to use his full power, he wins.

Yusuke could easily break through the concrete.

If Beetlejuice is zipping up Yusuke's mouth, Yusuke would just shot him with a Spirit Gun.

Beetlejuice incases him in concrete: Yusuke breaks out and shoots him with the spirit gun.

Yusuke is also FAR faster than Beetlejuice.

FURTHER... he never did anything to the living people's bodies. Only manipulated their surroundings. He doesn't seem to have control of the living, so his power does have limits.

He's also never shown the ability to even LIFT a block of concrete, much less throw it into the sun.

I still say Danny Phantom could take him on...as long as he phased through all the shots he could possess him and make him (Yusuke) spirit gun himself.

Danny is a spirit, spirits beat up Danny. Yusuke uses spirit energy. Yusuke shots Danny, Danny goes down.

He was able to open up a portal to drop that one person into the Sand Worm Land, so I don't see how much trouble he would have making a portal to drop someone in the sun...

And he wasn't able to manipulate the living, true, but he could manipulate the environment around them.

And to avoid Yusuke and all his tricks, all Beetlejuice has to do is become a microbe tall, and manipulate the environment to kill his oppoent. He would be totally invisable, yet still there, and would have all the time in the world to figure out something to kill his opponent.
