If the door is wide, then Yusuke would turn around and reach out to grab the buttom of the door (Which he would grab because he is fast). It's still the natural instinct of grabbing something, and even if it isn't, Yusuke is smart enough to do that.

Actually, it took longer than that. He knew the mirror was there, but it wasn't until he was getting beaten that he realized he could use it as a good weapon. Besides, he didn't even consider it would break.

And no, IHMN, reaching out is the natural reaction.

[Edit]Oh, wow, grabbing the bottom of th door considering he's falling FORWARD and would have to manage to turn a full 180 degree around to grab the bottom of the door, which won't matter because momentum is STILL pushing him forward(or backwards now that he's facing the opposite direction) and would have to somehow propel himself upright and then forward again...but that wouldn't do jack squat because to grab the bottom of the door he'd still be inside the doorway and thus BJ would close the door.

He never needed the mirror before, and before it wasn't important.

But, when he was forced down to sitting from getting beat, then Hiei was running at him, he saw the mirror behind him. Then he shot the mirror (Once Hiei was in a certain place to the reflection would hit him). He did that in a couple of seconds (At most).

Edit - How far do you think he is falling forward? At most a couple of feet down, turning around and grabbing something isn't very hard (For Yusuke at least). And Yusuke's hand is between the door beind open and closed. Beetlejuice couldn't get past Yusuke's hand (And he could pull himself up in a second).

BULLCRAP the mirror wasn't important. The whole point of retrievin the mirror from Hiei was to take it back to the high god so the high god's father didn't know the mirror was ever stolen. But, guess what, IT WAS BROKEN!

Fighting wise the mirrior wasn't important (Until the very end), not story wise.

And so what if it was broken? Yusuke was going to die, and the mirror was his last hope.

Edit - And what makes you think Beetlejuice can make portals where ever he wants? The portal he made in the game was in a fireplace which led to hell (Fire, hell, get it?).

Yeah, and it affected Yusuke...how exactly? He still corralled two mega-demons, killed a third, and had two out of three, which aint bad. I don't think he ever got penalized for it, and he won.

But how does that help your argument?
