Oy...maybe He puts the wall up, the dinosaur pushes down, and Ness sinks down into the ground, his psychic 'outer skin' slightly protecting him but he still gets scraped and such...or we could drop it for once...
|
Well, the Zeiram in the live action movies wasn't quite so powerful. The government just kept trying to use it even though Iria killed it. Zeiram itself is just a little biological unit placed inside of an android. It's fairly easy to kill if one can get past Zeiram's shielding. Its main ability is that it can create monsters from other living things if it bites them. For instance, it turned a puppy into this giant, fleshy wolf monster. The android itself tends to be pretty powerful, it's designed for combat, but if its shield unit is damaged, then a very precise shot can destroy the Zeiram inside.

IHMN, that still doesn't mean anything. Two objects are occupying the same place at the same time. By laws of physics, the dominant one(in this case, the dinosaur's foot) will overrule the existance of the inferior one(the thing the dinosaur is stepping on) because the inferior one is not strong enough to counter-balance, or even over-balance, the superior one.
BV, specify which Zeiram we're using. Animated, or the movies? [Edit]BMH, if his psionic powers are preventing the dinosaur from crushing him by pushing him into the ground, how would get get a little scrape if nothing's touching him? Are you saying Ness' psionic abilities focus where the most danger is coming from? Because if you are, I am going to exploit that.[/Edit] |
Where do you get that there are two things in the same place at the same time?
Dino foot -------- (Pychic wall) | Ness | -------- Nothing overlaps. |
Okay, then by all means, provide a good explanation for Superman's powers beyond, "he's an alien and its a yellow sun." I want formulae and everything. That's no better than "a wizard did it." That is all Ness requires, because he operates on a different set of rules. That is why he is not a good fight.
Also, by your rules, he could be considered a man of steel if one applies his stats over the course of the game. Edit: Movie Zeiram, because otherwise Snake is screwed. Edit 2: You're not going to exploit anything because this fight is over. Counter arguments have been provided for everything you've said in Mantis' favour, but you've just re-used the old ones over and over again. |
Ness operates inside a RPG. Fine, let's take the focus away from Ness for a moment and look at other RPGs. Or, better yet, let's stay with Ness and focus on him before his powers were awakened. He got knived by the town bully and still stood up.
And IHMN, I am still not getting your diagram, AT ALL. |
------ = A psionic wall
| = A psionic wall Ness is surronded by a natural psionic wall to protect himself from harm. But, it is not some godly wall, just a natural wall based on his pychic power. So, the dinosaur steps down, and the wall takes most of the force, but some of the force passes through Ness' wall, so it hits him (But it's only a small ammount). Also, people can stand up after being stabbed... |
Let me try to mediate. I think what he means is the dinsours steps on Ness but the foot stays outside the wall as some force goes through. The Dinosaurs foot deforms around it as does the ground under it. The wall remains intact and transmits some force like banging on glass and hurting the idoit pressed up against it on the otherside. The Dino foot doesnt go in the shield.

Stabbed and knived are two different things. Any street gangster can tell you that. And if you'll give me a moment to start a new EB, I'll show you a screenshot where it reads "knived." I would also think several bashings from an officer's baton would put someone down, along with a good mace-in-the-face-spray. But no, like every other RPG, Ness just got up and kept right on going, because RPGs' damage operate outside real combat. Just go watch the movie clip in my signature and watch my slash my sword through a guy, and watch him still live.
[Edit]That still would not explain how Jeff survives being stepped on by a dino, and how people survive getting slashed in half.[/Edit] |
You're just giving more reasons as to why Ness wins...
