This argument and this thread in general has inspired a new personal quote. As fun as that is it is time to move on, so here goes:

Last Immortal vs semi good Jedi using normal sword (Highlander quality because there is a big difference.) to level the fight. (Of course this may tip it toward the last immortal because he/she is supposed to be all powerfull so the lightsaber might come back.)

Power Rangers vs. Voltron

Voltron wins because... because fuck the Power Rangers, that's why.

The Jedi. They have a level of telepathy that lets them know, to a degree, what their opponenet is going to do before they do it. The Jedi would counter every one of the Highlander's moves and take him down when the moment was right.

Fifth: That's exactly how I felt about that fight.

As for Sith's fight. Last immortal... even if it's Yoda with a lightsaber.

If you watch the first highlander movie, when Conner becomes the one, he gains the 'vortex', as he called it. Which is every thought and every bit of knowledge of every person, and if he concentrates, he can tune into any one of them.

He'll know what the jedi is going to do before the jedi does it... and, given a few minutes of concentration, would be able to use the force himself.

In the one movie I saw before the McCloud decided to be normal he could read everyones mind at the same time. That alone negates that powers advantage and who knows what else he could do.

... Then basically, they are totally equal, and it's 50/50. The Jedi has the Force and can read McCloud's mind, and McCloud can do the same. They are both master swordsman. You could flip a coin to decide this battle...

Jedi vs. Highlander

Which Highlander movie are we talking about? The first one, in which Connor Macleod becomes the last of the immortals and gains all their power and wisdom, but gives up immortality? The second one, in which it's the future and the space-immortals show up and Sean Connery comes back to life because he's Sean fucking Connery and can just do that, or the third one in which it's not the future any more and there's a whole bunch more immortals everyone just forgot about and Connor gets magic illusion powers?

I'm not even considering that last movie they made that had the TV Highlander in it, because... well, because fuck the TV Highlander.

Nah. The jedi can't read Connor's mind to the same degree that he can read the jedi's, and, as I said, Connor could get years of jedi training just by concentrating on any random jedi master's conciousness in the vortex. He has access to all knowledge of every person alive.

He's also much stronger and faster than a normal human, and only blows through his neck will kill him, so he gains that advantage as well.
