Fry wins. He outsmarted/witted a race of giant brains.

Fry from Futurama vs Fighter in a battle of wits. (Not a physical battle mind you a mental one.) So who whould win; fighter just appears to be stupid but Fry is missing a whole brainwave frequency. I think at the very least it whould be an interesting conversation.
Having the two of them at the same time in the same place creates a critical mass of stupidity which crosses the stupidity event horizon, becomes self-sustaining, and spreads until it destroys the entire universe.

That, actually, makes more sense than almost anything else I've heard on here recently....

Those brains were smart but not smart if ya catch my meaning. The only reason Fry beat them is because his cobbelled together brain waves caused great pains to the brains. He didn't so much out smart them as bring them down to his level.

How about this a tag team match that crosses logic and reality several times. El Mariatchi and The Bride vs. Sephiroth and Vash.

Dragonsbane 05-30-2004 07:29 PM

Sephiroth and Vash, because logic and reality are immaterial when one is (or is a descendant of) an immortal and powerful being. Vash blows up cities, even though he tries not to, and Sephiroth almost destroyed the world.........not to mention he was created using Jenova's genetic material.

TheSpiritOfVengance 05-30-2004 07:35 PM

I mean in a combat situation at a place like the colliseum in rome.

Dragonsbane 05-30-2004 08:45 PM

Vash would disable both of them with shots to nonlethal areas, since he wouldn't want to kill them, Sephiroth would hack them to bits with his big katana. Two mortals vs. the "child" of Jenova and an immortal gunman is a no-brainer.....

Krylo 05-30-2004 08:55 PM

I think it would go more like this: Vash disables them with shots to non-lethal areas, Sephiroth moves in for the kill, Vash interjects himself between Sephiroth and the, now, disabled mortals.

And then we have a real fight on our hands. Vash vrs. Sephiroth!

Dragonsbane 05-30-2004 09:19 PM

let's put it this way. Sephiroth would eventually force Vash to do the same thing he did to the one guy with the sword (I forget his name) where his arm turned into a gun and blew up the entire city, because up until that point Sephiroth would be going all-out to try and kill Vash, and unless he's the sort of person to kill a foe immediately instead of taunting him first (I don't know enough about him to tell), Vash would be in the same situation as before......if Sephiroth IS the sort of person who would kill a vanquished foe immediately, instead of taunting him, or if he can survive that blast, then he wins.
