Eat Lead: Return of Matt Hazard
 

First topic, yes :D!!! Anyway to the point that this game will most likely be awesome. Its a third person shooter of the name "Eat Lead: Return of Matt Hazard". You will be playing as a fictional game hero named Matt Hazard who starred in a bunch of fictional 80s and 90s games(by fictional I mean, they don't exist) and was a hit back then. He wakes from retirement to be in a next gen game that turns out to be a trap by a bunch of hackers in the real world who want to kill him. It is a third person shooter that looks pretty freaking sweet as there are many video game refrences like Wolvenstein, Mario, and even Halo. Here is the gametrailers video page:

Yeah, that's pretty much the definition of fictional.

I saw the skit with the JRPG hero. It was pretty funny, though I hope to see a line about bald space marines somewhere.

It seems to be a really awesome game concept! I like how he meets ultra stratus and that he can only talk in text boxes and that Matt himself presses the a button. eventually gets fed up with him talking so much and gets one or 2 cheap shots in! Its fucking hilarious!
also when the game starts giving him objectives and he goes "can we sum this up" and all the small objectives leave and are replaced with "Shoot everything that moves"

"An ellipses, what the hell is that supposed to mean? How many players have wasted time clicking through ellipses?!"

Y'know, I've been wanting to get a 360 for awhile now...

Think when my next paycheck comes in I'm definately gonna have to make a run to the nearest gamestore. I want this game.

Gameplay and enemy AI looks a little weak, but the humor looks awesome. I really hope they pull this game off well, and I lol at the people dissing the enemy graphics for the parts that are supposed to be bad graphics.

I wouldn't even care if this didn't have multiplayer, and that I would expect from a lot of shooters today to add to their longevity! Would be awesome if it does though, using water guns online XD

Matt Hazard is played by Will Arnett (30 rock) and it also features Neil Patrick Harris (How i Met Your Mother) who voices the main villain

ALso, if these "earlier games" point out the stages and cameos we'll get on this one, i think it's going to be good.. already saw Wolfenstein, Contra, Halo, Final Fantasy, 007 and Kart games in there!

I'm betting at least a few people know him more from Doogie Howser and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. He also was in some great Old Spice commercials.
