Good point. Mostly naked pissed off valkyrie when the smoke clears... Woo!

Zweihander 04-21-2004 09:42 PM

I can get behind that... literally. ^_^

Edit: Guess not. I vote we just try to stall her for as long as possible. I have a hunch that we won't get to take her down...

Forever Zero 04-21-2004 10:01 PM

What is below the bridge, a river, or just rock?

A reaaaaaally large ravine goes all the way around Fayon (or the mountain peak that it is positioned on). So there would be a feild... perhaps a lake or pond right below the bridge, so we could just if needed.... since I think that's your idea. Lots of grass, and a little rock. It's a pretty long fall though.

Darth SS 04-21-2004 10:07 PM

Wooh for me stalling and trying to stop the deathblow.

...We're all gonna' die. I know it.

IHateMakingNames 04-21-2004 10:07 PM

The majore problem with your plan SS.

Sara can fly.

Forever Zero 04-21-2004 10:07 PM

Actually I had a different idea then what you may be thinking, but SS just nixed my plan, so now I'm clueless...

Squishy Cheeks 04-21-2004 10:07 PM

Also I hit her with funk of ages. the magical equivalent of skunk spray.

Darth SS 04-21-2004 10:09 PM

Each one is like a box that's missing a side...

So, when that thing hits, Darilk might want to be out from underneath the box.

A really big really thick solid steel box.

CelesJessa 04-21-2004 10:16 PM

So the box idea is your final answer? Let's see what happens! (not what I was expecting to happen, but hey, I'm flexible.)

IHateMakingNames 04-21-2004 10:17 PM

It's SS's answer, not any one elses...

Seconded. Mine was probably less effective though, so we'll see how this works.

Darth SS 04-21-2004 10:18 PM

Someone promise me they'll grab him after this.

IHateMakingNames 04-21-2004 10:19 PM

Our best bet would be to get Sang to touch Sara so he has the demi-god like power.

CelesJessa 04-21-2004 10:19 PM

I just thought of something: Why would your steel hold up while the bridge was decimated earlier? (just wondering... it might effect my choice on what happens.)

Krylo 04-21-2004 10:19 PM

Darilk will grab your guy and toss you out of the way when the steel starts falling apart, SS. I doubt it will work, though. She can use multiple blasts (even if it stops one or two, she can keep going, and SS won't be able to)...

I didn't really like Darilk's either, though. It's just the only thing HE would do that didn't involve accepting the energy blast and dying.

Forever Zero 04-21-2004 10:20 PM

The only problem is touching her without being vaporized while trying to get close. But I'm sure Darilk and Vace have enough strength to chuck Sang at her like a missile...

Darth SS 04-21-2004 10:21 PM

How exactly would we do that?

And on a side note, here's what inspired me to do the box...

Giant orb of death

Pissed demi-god

Great change that if we try to attack her, she can just immolate us and half the city.
EDIT To answer CJ, our lord and GM- Because there is A LOT OF IT. There's probably a foot per wall. And several dozen walls erected. REALLY THICK. We're looking at a few dozen meters of steel here. This is why Kal is out after this.

Krylo 04-24-2004 08:35 PM

Did celes say she was going someplace? I haven't seen her online for the last two days...

Truce 04-24-2004 08:39 PM

Nope, but doesn't she usually not show up as often on the weekends?

Zweihander 04-24-2004 09:44 PM

I think she lives out in the American MidWest somewheres, since she's mentioned tornados before in her posts. Yesterday, apperently, there were a buncha twisters out that way, so I can only hope for the best. Maybe she's just busy? I know that I, personally, should be studying for two midterm exams.
