Age: 16 Gender: Chick Magic Type: Verda Magic Description: Gains special skills depending on costume. Turns into a little kid while transformed. Cat Form: Moves fast, can scratch with costume claws. Special Attack: Cat's Call, a high frequency squeal that can shatter glass and opponents' resolve. Also attracts cats within ear shot. Beam Mode: Cutie Whirlwind, a tornado of Cutie energy that momentarily traps foes. Launched with a kick. Bear Form: Can knock things down. Special Attack: Mega Paw, a focused destructive wave in the shape of a giant bear paw, focused on her paw. Beam Mode: Cutie Crush, a close-range attack consisting of throwing an unstable wad of Cutie energy composed of several Cutie Beams. Takes a while to charge, but can crush powerful magic defenses. A direct hit is like watching every kitten video on youtube simultaneously while binging on ice cream sundays and chocolate hearts. Frog Form: Can leap tall buildings in a single bound. Swims fast. Breathes slow. Special Attack: Princess Kiss, a kiss that can heal injuries, break barriers, and generally allow her to do the things a magical girl is expected to do beyond "blow up monsters." Beam Mode: Cutie Wave, a dispersed Cutie Beam that covers a wide area. Bunny Form: Is not a weird costume. Special Attack: None All forms: Cutie Beam, a blast of disorienting cuteness that can stun foes, fired from her hands. Cutie Shoot, a smaller, more efficient blast of disorienting cuteness. Can be fired in volleys or individually. Cutie Shield, a one-directional barrier that takes the shape of a giant daisy blossom. Cutie Bubble, an omni-directional, bouncy shield. When destroyed or dismissed, it dissolves into many smaller bubbles. Items/Familiar: Picky, the tiny inoshikacho. More adorable looking than a pig-deer-butterfly should be, but with a gruff attitude. He seems able to do any of Panko's special attacks, though not often. Takes care of passive mage stuff like sensing danger, creating Phantom Zones, and being mysterious. When Panko needs more than moral support, he can transform into a giant, horned, winged boar and smash stuff up or carry her to safety. Transformed form isn't nearly as cute. Search "Giant boar" in google image search. Animal Bracelet: A cheap looking, elastic bracelet running through cuddly cartoon faces of a bear, a cat, and a frog. Used to transform. Background: Long a lover of cute things, Kowaiza is considered one of the toughest girls in school. Even most thugs are afraid of her. This is because, after leaving elementary school, Kowaiza hid all evidence of her passion for cuteness, building up a fake thuggish personality and rising to power within the delinquents of the school. This is not to say that she's particularly strong or good at fighting. Middle and high-school girl gangs rely on deception and rumor to run a school. If Kowaiza's sisters were to find out about her love of cuteness or, heaven forbid, her powers, she would instantly lose all prestige and likely be targeted for harassment. She really would like to be a good influence on the girls she hangs out with, as she really does consider them her friends, but it's a difficult thing to do when you're skipping school to smoke behind the gym and threatening to destroy students' lives. Needless to say, she isn't terribly satisfied with her current situation. Her mom knows nothing of her position at school and thinks of her as a model student. Addressed by most students as "Kowaiza." Her friends call her sis when they want something from her. Only her mom, Tobi, and Picky call her Panko. Barrier Jacket: All forms except Bunny consist of a round, soft hood and a full body suit. Think "stuffed animal." Anyway, cat form is black, with big, pointed cat ears with white tips, a white belly, pink paw pads, and shining, rounded claws. Bear form is brown, has round ears, and an orange crescent on the chest. Frog form is green, has big googly eyes on top of the hood, and has flippers instead of paws. Bunny form is a pink hoodie with rabbit ears on the hood and a carrot on the chest; it looks like something she would have worn six years ago. If she loses the suit (unlikely, given the genre), her powers remain. They're her powers, not the suits'. Personality: Gruff, thuggish, and generally tough when in public. At home, Panko likes to have tea parties with her cat, Nyanta, watch childrens' cartoons, and sing along with cereal ads. When transformed, she acts like she's at home, feeling safe in the assumption that no one will recognize her 10 year-old form. People she knows: Shiawase Ohno: Girl in her class. Noticeably dumb. Kinda boy crazy. Only hangs out with a bad crowd because of her friendship with Erika. Erika Sundry: Natural born delinquent. Talented at manipulation. Uses boyfriend's crew to solve problems with violence if the need arises. Ohno is her old friend. Kowaiza Marin: Busy with work. Is unaware of Panko's school life. Kowaiza Tobi: Age 12. Also likes cute things, but never had the problems in school that Panko had. Knows about how she acts at school. They get along well. Nice, well-rounded kid. Typical Appearance: Short, slightly wavy black hair, thin, about 5'10". Typically wears a close-cut denim jacket over a t-shirt and jeans. The shirt usually has something cute on it. She's usually scowling in public. At home, she tends to lose the jacket and the scowl. Transformed Panko is about 4'5". If she took off her hood, her hair would be similar to her grown up cut. Her face is a bit fatter and cuter, as one would expect. |

Age: 17 Gender: Male Faction: Verda Appereance: 6', 160 lbs, lanky with broad shoulders. Short chocolate brown hair with bangs in the front, hazel eyes, lightly tanned skin. Magic Description: Predatory, channels the ferocity and cunning of the wild through his magic. Barrier Jacket: Mythical Earth Ward - Loose black shirt with a silver emblem set over the heart, loose black pants with white interlocking lightning bolts on the right leg. Black hood can be added. Barrier is stronger then normal in the front, but average everywhere else. Barrier Jacket’s magical boost allows him to fly. Items: Silver Armlet - Worn on his upper right, has a small circular indentation in its center, given by Mero. Technically part of his barrier jacket. Mern can place a high level spell, like Tempest Fury, in the armlet and allow it to slowly charge itself. This method allows him to ready a high level spell while still fighting. While charging the spell, a miniature version of its casting circle appears in the indentation, this method takes far longer then if he just focused on the thing. Magical Traits: Feline Poise - Since awakening, he’s grown more cat-like, gaining enhanced coordination, agility, speed, strength and other skills, like always landing on his feet and moving silently. Arcane Sight - Menarker can see magical energy, both visible and invisible, and match it to its source’s magical signature. Can see residue left by the passing of a spell or the presence of a strong mage. Eyes glow amber while active. Offensive Spells: Savage Wind - Infuses the air with essence of a Wild Cat, allowing it to form cutting blades. These blades can be tied to an object for a short period of time, allowing the object to cut like a sword. Can also be used as a projectile with homing properties. Spell can also be used to conjure "sharp" winds. Crackling Roar - Channels nature's fury into lightning inside his body. That energy can be released on contact with a target causing a strong knockback, or as a jet of energy for range. Slightly homing at range, arcs toward target. Effective against electronics. Flash Pursuit - Just after being hit by an attack, Menarker can focus his retributive instinct and teleport to the position of his attacker by tracing back the energy path through the connection formed. He appears a few feet away, from the direction the attack was launched from. Against a melee attack he can reappear from any direction. Before it can be used again, it takes half a minute to purge the traces left by the tracking portion of this spell. This technique does nothing to prevent damage from the attack Menarker was hit with and can't go through magical barriers. Tempest Fury - Sends out a large amount of magical energy into the air, creating a blast of gale force wind with razor edged blades of air and bolts of lightning mixed in. Equivalent to a bombardment spell. Supportive Spells: Submission - Intimidating feral energy forces spells and curses out of a target. To be selective requires focus, requires direct contact. Can be cast on himself at will. Doesn't drain magical energy inside the target. Ether - Converts magical energy into physical energy, allowing Mern to fight at full strength longer. The more magic converted, the more energy restored. Has a side affect of relaxing the target’s muscles, and healing small injures like bruises and cuts. Larger injuries like broken bones require longer concentration. Requires physical touch to work on another living thing. Mastery - Generates a disc shield, wall shield or field (only over Menarker or Mero) of predatory energy. The first spell that comes in contract with it will be overtaken, and its energy converted into a copy of that spell, and fired back at its source. Will allow spells made of like magical energy to pass without consequence. To take over a spell requires slightly more magic then the spell contains, if the spell is too strong, the barrier will collapse and the reflection will fail. Overtaken spell is will seek its creator. Pride Guard - Summons a normal disc shield written in amber magic. Relentless Barrier - Summons a shield wall of amber magic. Prefers making it a bit curved, shaped like this \_/. Feral Field - Summons a normal omnidirectional barrier of amber magic. Familiar: Mero: A kitten sized Iriomote Wildcat, brown furred with black markings and dark green eyes. Average intelligence, can not be magically manipulated to dislike, betray, or devote herself to someone over Mern. Battle Form - Mero transforms into a bull sized cat, her teeth grow longer, sharper, stronger and more fang-like, her claws lengthen and become stronger and sharper then swords, and she looks more primal and powerful. She’s able to fly in this form. Familiar Spells: Cat’s Eye - Like Mern, Mero can see magical energy, both visible and invisible spells, and match the spell to its source’s magical signature. Unlike Menarker, Mero can not detect magical residue and traces, but she can see through illusion spells, which would normally trap him. Cat’s eye is always active in battle form, and her eyes glow yellow. She can activate it in her normal form as well. Primal Link – Mero possesses an Empathic bond with Menarker, allowing the pair to sense each other’s approximate location, direction and feelings. While fighting together, Mern and Mero’s link serves to further enhance their respective physical abilities, such as strength, speed and agility. Range of boost is something like mid-range. Smoke Breath - Breathes magical clouds of black mist. Electronic scanners become blinded inside its confines, and magical senses become blinded, forcing those trapped inside to rely only on their mundane senses. Sonic Roar - Mero lets out a magically empowered roar. The magic turns it into a concussion blast of sound, with a great deal of knockback. Only those in front of her will get struck by the force. Otherwise, it’s just a loud roar. Vorpal Claw - Mero surrounds her claws in a magical field of cutting energy, the field can be lengthened. The magical energy can be used to deflect other spells, and be released in a long straight-line fissures of energy. Non-homing. Wild Spirit - Combo between Mern and Mero. Mero charges her body with her magical energy, building it until pale green mingled yellow magical fire appears around her. Menarker casts submission on her, expelling the charged magic in the form of a larger, more primal, version of Mero’s battle form. The cat is abnormally fast, and equivalent to high level bombardment spells, smart enough to dodge around shields. The shock of the magical energy loss forces her out of battle form for the remainder of the battle. Zephyr Charge - Combo between Mern and Mero. While riding Mero, Mern sends his Savage Wind magic into the air around them, surrounding the pair with a large sword of air. Mero adds her own Vorpal Claw magic to the blade, further sharpening the blade, and through a focused burst of ether, and her own pure magic, increases her speed to the point of blurring. Useful for piercing shields and deflecting bombardment spells. Tenacious Shield - A rune covered disc shield of pale green mingled yellow magic, colored like a cat’s eye. Enduring Wall - A wall of pale green mingled yellow magic, colored like a cat’s eye. Persistent Dome - An omnidirectional barrier of pale green mingled yellow magic, colored like a cat’s eye. |

Got no reply to the PM I sent so I went a bit wild. :P --- Name: Daichi[大智] Katsumoto[勝元] Age: 16 Gender: Male Appearance: Slim body and limbs, bright skin, slightly tired expression, deep green eyes, pitch-black hair usually in a ponytail. Magic Type: Verda Magic Description: His magic can do almost anything as long as he can find components and pronounce the incantation. The limitations are mainly in the fact that it's Verda magic, so no creation of complicated structures and such. Also there is a very limited amount of "life" Daichi can put into his spells. Casting takes more time dependent on how accurate the effect if supposed to be, rather than how powerful, but to reach higher power components might be needed in great amounts. Components, while similar in function to what Autekka use their devices for, have no actual magical value, they only allow to focus the energy on its task. Here are some spells that will be seen most often(the basic ones) and those I wanted to mention for whatever reason. -Missile: A quite strong bullet of energy, using which requires only to shout "Sa!" every time you use it. Multiple instances can be cast after a single incantation if the words "Taka Sa!" are used instead. -Tracker: Energy missile that not only follows its target, but also attracts "missile" making them also follow the same target. The incantation is "Mora Enai!" and uses a leaf or a feather as a component. If a leaf is used, it'll fly a random path, if a feather, it'll fly in a straight line but a bit faster. -Wings: Allows to fly quite fast. The component is a piece of clothing that'll be turned into symbolic wings and a feather, the incantation is "Arai Efa!" -Disguise: Changes clothing, the component is a representation of the desired appearance and the incantation is "Teka Arai Veir." Which, conveniently, dosen't need to be shouted out loud. -Dispel: Removes effect of a previously casted spell, incantation is "Sif Mana Veir!" and needs something that belongs to the caster as a component. -Shield: With the word "Sie!" shouted, one can repel most projectiles coming from a general direction one reaches his arm at. Spells of a more complicated nature might require specific components, but the spell is the same. -Liquid Cannon: "Teka Syle Sylai!" near a source of clear water will direct a high pressure stream at target direction. The shape is very narrow cone, so precise aiming is required. Generally non lethal, and it ignores shields that affect only magical energy(like those that let people get in and out), since the water is under no magical effect after being launched. -Heat Cannon: "Taka Vorey Efa!" will rapidly reduce temperature, directing all the heat to a near pinpoint accurate beam that'll rapidly exhaust a living being, or set burnable stuff alight. Temperature reduction resulting from the use of this spell is not a magical effect, however the beam should be treated as such. -Rune creation: Allows creation of small magical stones that can be later used instead of components to cast some spells. Each stone is actually just those components packed up in a handy form. Incantation is "Mana Dhurh Veir!". Items: -"Old Book": Written in some ancient language with page size illustrations, presenting simple objects. It's a manual to his powers, not their source. He can read it ever since he got his powers. -A wizard figure keychain... -One-strap backpack, used to carry whatever he thinks would be useful. Barrier Jacket: A wizard outfit, think something along FF-style Black Mage, with only eyes being visible, but with a cape instead of robes(more suited for movement and hand-to-hand). This appearance is only the one he favors(and has almost always available), not the only one that works. Background: Son of a not so famous archeologist and a member of her digging team. Not exactly a child of love, but his parents got along good enough to marry and give him a brother. He spends a lot of time on reading books he'll never make use of and other stuff that appears "smart" but is in fact a way of killing time. He is quite intelligent but has problems with getting his relationships on higher levels. Generally finds his life boring and plain. Yoshiro[義郎]: Daichi's 12 year old brother, with smart eyes and a strong character. He likes to cause trouble, especially to Daichi. He is a vegetarian. -Taike[大家] family: Friends of Katsumoto family, they take care of Daichi and Yoshiro while their parents are gone. Father of the family is also an archeologist and works with Daichi's parents. Junko[純子]: 13 year old girl, Yoshiro's partner in crime. Bit of a tomboy an quite a "rebel", but can be never seen wearing trousers. She likes swimming, but isn't at her school's swimming team. Kotone[琴音]: Talented musician at the age of 16. She likes to spend time with Daichi, but can rarely see him since she attends a private school and a lot of additional classes. Among many instruments she can play, she likes harmonica the most, since it's the only one she learned to play on her own. Satomi[聡美]: A calm and wise woman in her early 30's. She is an absolutely perfect mother and caretaker, her only problem is that she still looks like an 18 year old... -Yoshida[吉田] twins: Daichi's childhood/school friends, not really close though. They provide school-wide recon for a small fee. Hidesuke[英輔]: When the twins were born he came out first, puling his sisters hand. With his superior sneaking and observation skills, he provides photographic evidence and secrets for the twins recon reports. A positive thinker, but other than his "job" he's not really bright. Kyokei[協啓]: She helps everyone with the help of everyone. Very cheerful, she is a member of many clubs and has friends in almost every group. She provides general recon and clues for her brother to work on. She makes up for all the intellect her brother might lack. |
Name: Hana, Iriumi (last, first)
Age: 16 Gender: Definitely feminine. Magic Type: Verda Appearance: Hana Iriumi is of average height, with sparkling green eyes and lips that always seem to smile. Her fair skin complements her straight dark auburn hair that she keeps in check with a blue headband. While she isn’t the well-endowed type, her curves are just-right, and there is a charm about her that people are attracted to. She appears fit and healthy, and tends to wear clothes that complement her figure and complexion. Items/Familiar: Orichalcum Ivy (Ivy for short) – Iriumi’s familiar. More of a sentient symbiotic plant than anything else, the vine-like plant lives off bright radiant light sources (the sun, latent energy released by very bright lights or even radiation from other magical powers). In the absence of these, the ivy turns to Iriumi’s internal magical source as a parasite, but not before using up the stored energy from the periods of light exposure. The ivy derives its name from its properties: it possesses an exceptional resilience to it that helps protect itself and its mistress from harm. The orichalcum ivy normally appears to be a circular green and gold vine-like necklace around Iriumi’s neck. Magic Description: Specific type augmentation and limited transformation. Iriumi’s magic is very plant-oriented. Specifically, she helps augment and manipulate the abilities granted to her by the Orichalcum Ivy. There is a partiality towards mergence in some of their spells and capabilities, but most of the time the two stay as separate entities. However, this does not stop Iriumi from imitating or transforming parts of herself into semblances similar to the Orichalcum ivy, with varying degrees of success and properties. Ivy suit: Iriumi’s barrier jacket. The orichalcum ivy expands and grows over Iriumi’s body, covering it in a (usually) skin-tight outfit composed of gold-green ivy leaf motifs. Her face becomes half-obscured by a soft vine and leaf mesh that covers the lower part of her face and nose. Rooted reinforcement: Ivy’s main defensive method. Ivy extends a large mesh of inverwoven vine and leaves that can block most incoming attacks. Iriumi herself can mimic Ivy’s defence, but it is a lot weaker. However, this means that she can effectively block two incoming attacks. When Iriumi isn’t airborne and has contact with the ground, Ivy and her shields are both much stronger. Ancient’s Wrath: One of Ivy’s few combat forms. Ivy extends itself to become a relatively unconventional weapon – a shinai (Japanese bamboo practice sword) connected to the main body of Ivy through a single, strong vine. The shinai itself is composed of four strong vines twisted together, ending in a relatively wickedly pointed tip. The pole-like shaft bristles with thorns, and is slightly flexible. Ivy guides Iriumi in attacking with Ancient’s Wrath, with Iriumi augmenting their strength and power behind the blows. Primordial Bow: Ivy’s primary combat formation. While Ancient’s Wrath is its lesser melee form, when activated, the four vines that form the weapon’s ‘blade’ unfurl outwards into a crossbow. Specialized ivy leaves supplement as ammunition, and the crossbow is self-loading. Iriumi uses augmented targeting when firing the Primordial Bow. Her shots are quite accurate. Vine-pyre bolts: Ivy’s crossbow bolt leaves are specially designed so that they’d ignite in a burst of fire during its flight. Rather than burning up before hitting their targets, the fire transforms the leaf’s organic matter into a hardened metal that can pierce most normal barriers. The leaves can also be modified to be semi-homing. Their structure can be changed so that they curve in a specific fashion against a moving target. Vine blast: energy-type ranged blast attack. As a Primordial Bow, Ivy can fire a concentrated amount of energy as vine-like spears that ensnares anybody hit by it for a short amount of time – enough time to reload and not miss. The vine blast is very showy and glows bright green. Explosive Seeds: Normally a storage device for excess energy Ivy or Iriumi haven’t used. These seeds hold the pent-up magic that can be transformed into usable firepower. Usually fixed to the tip of the crossbow bolts, the seeds can also be thrown or flicked, with very explosive results. Unused seeds are carefully stored away or reabsorbed back into the main body at a later time. Ivy Wings: Iriumi can sprout organic plant-like leaves that serve as primitive wings for flight. Shape-wise, they just look like a pair of oversized ivy leaves with metal-like veins. They’re effective for long-distance gliding or very quick evasive maneuvers, but are weak in actual maintained flight. Most of Ivy’s abilities are weak while airborne. Passive Absorbance: a special passive ability Ivy possesses. Because it is a plant organism, Ivy can utilize practically any source of light as an energy source to replenish itself and its host (Iriumi). The strongest source of light unmatched by anything else would be sunlight, and so during the daytime, the duo are a lot stronger in their abilities than they are at night. While this ability to transform light into magical energy also applies to the side-effects of other magical attacks (bright light then blasty blasty), it only serves to either strengthen their own defences or attacks by a little bit. Ivy cannot transform energy from the light it produces itself. This passive ability also gifts Iriumi with rapid healing during the day, as excess energy transformed by Ivy is given to its host. It also explains why she eats practically nothing all day but has a big meal at night, AND seems to stay awake during all her classes. Passive detox: being a symbiotic familiar and a plant, Ivy can filter harmful toxins from Iriumi’s body. This keeps Iriumi healthy and fit. As a Barrier jacket, the ‘mask’ over Iriumi’s face also produces a healthy amount of oxygen. This is useful as a filter mask against airborne toxins or a brief heist underwater. Background: Born into a wealthy family, Iriumi was the middle child, with an older brother (Riu) and a younger sister (Sakura). Their parents were loving, but very busy with their work and earning the money for their wealthy lifestyle. Iriumi wasn’t spoilt, but she was treated to the best of things, and taught how to respect people properly. She looks up to her bigger brother for most problems, thinking him wise in most ways and kind of idolizes him somewhat in her childhood. At school, Iriumi was very popular. She was able to blend in with most crowds, and her pretty looks earned the eyes of a few boys in her class and and those above her. She was a diligent student, studying hard and earning good marks, so even the teachers had nothing bad to say about her. When she was 5, her nanna (Misai) visited her and gave her a small necklace with a few pretty beads on it. She’d forgotten about it until the day Misai died. The evening before the funeral was held, Iriumi found the necklace again and decided to wear it. Little did she know what would happen that night… |

Name: Miyasaki Shimizu / Solblaster Age: 17 Gender: Female Magic Type: Autekka Magic Description: Shimizu uses starlight magical abilities, using Shimizu as the generator and Ponpon as the shaper. Spell use has a recoil heat that eventually leaves Shimizu's right hand suffering if overused. Items/Intelligent Device - Ponpon - Shimizu's Intelligent Device. It takes the form of a floating drone the size of a basketball with a flashlight eye. It communicates with pulses of its eye that Shimizu either understands immediately, opens a manual to translate, or just misinterprets when she's lazy. Ponpon is gold and pink in color. When in battle mode, it takes the form of an armcannon on Shimizu's right arm. - Spreiga - One of Shimizu's Ponbits. It takes the form of a floating sphere with eight hexagonal fist-sized plates floating in random orbit around it. It is black, white, and green in color. It assists Shimizu by disbersing her spells into multiple forms while amplifying each disbersed spell up to the power of the original spell. Like Shimizu's Star Brand, Spreiga can overheat and will reject all attempts to use its assistance if overheated. - Gearpack - Takes the form of a cute red backpack when Shimizu isn't fighting, and becomes both Shimizu's armor and rocket pack when engaged. There's also a loading port on the right arm for Ponpon to link with the armor and become Shimizu's weapon, all in the course of a standard magical girl transformation sequence. - All-Purpose Scanner (APS) - The only piece of equipment that isn't in Shimizu's Gearpack, the APS instead emerges from Shimizu's unusually-large hairbow and allows her to scan just about anything, giving her accurate information on a target. Unfortunately, Shimizu is a little too ignorant to understand that when something shows up with a power level of over 9000, she is required to remove the scanner and crush it in her hand while quoting a popular Internet meme. Background: Shimizu is a young, feminine lady with long bright red hair and big blue eyes. Her body was already starting development early and she has an excellent figure. She's quite popular and easy to be friends with because of her carefree and friendly attitude. She can often be distracted and "space out" when things aren't interesting for her, which is quite often. Spells - Ray Blade - A red hot blade of harmful photons not unlike the bastard child of a greatsword and a lightsaber. Wounds opened with this blade don't bleed as the blade instantly burns the wound closed. - Star Bolt - Rapid fire plasma attack with relatively little kickback. Should be fired in short bursts to maintain good accuracy. - Spider Strike - A homing attack that fires eight bursts at a time that spread out and curve inward towards the target. Not very good at homing after the initial curve and it's usually best on enemies that don't move fast. - Flare Tongue - A limited-range attack similar to a flamethrower, just with something much hotter. - Boom Burst - A powerful single energy blast that travels fast and strikes solidly. - Solar Slasher - Not an upgrade of the Ray Blade, but rather a thin slicing beam of plasma that can penetrate through multiple targets. - Meteor Impact - A massive explosion followed by a powerful earthquake caused by Shimizu ejecting a large force of energy directly into the ground. - Rippling Nova - A spell that is only possible with Ponpon's absense, thus leaving Shimizu unable to have her spells shaped into something more efficient. Rippling Nova sends painful energy waves directly outward in all directions, nailing everyone who is in a direct line of striking. Spells (Spreiga) - Star Bolt Spray - Rapid fire plasma attack with relatively little kickback, spread into a wide cone. Used mostly to keep from being overrun by foes but is almost pointless against single targets. - Spider Strike Swarm - A homing attack that fires sixty-four bursts at a time that spread out and curve inward towards the target. Family - Miyasaki Koichi: Deceased biological father. A construction worker who sung karaoke with Sayuki and Shimizu and was locally famous for his appetite. Died at age 38. Shimizu continues to bear the Miyasaki name in order to keep her cherished father's memory alive. - Honomura Sayuki: Biological mother. A cheerful housewife and a doting mother with the red hair and blue eyes that Shimizu inherited. Despite being 39, she still looks to be in her mid twenties, and is often asked out by guys who don't realize that she's a happily married woman and mother. - Honomura Takeyuki: Stepfather. A happy and energetic husband who runs a successful chinese restaurant inside the Honomura residence. He turned 41 just last week, and always takes good care of his personal health and maintains superb hygiene. He would like Takuya to get married and take over the restaurant one day. - Honomura Takuya: Younger stepbrother. Currently involved in a "crush triangle" with a girl in his homeroom class and his older stepsister Shimizu. He is currently 15. He loves video games, and has been studying electronics a lot since learning that Shimizu was a magical girl to learn how to help her by maintaining Ponpon. He tries hard to get Shimizu to stop treating him like a kid. Friends - Mitsurugi Kiyuri: Shimizu's best friend. 17 years old. Kiyuri has a cheerful personality, loves to skateboard, and is currently seeking to help Shimizu with her magical girl lifestyle while hoping to be a magical girl herself. Kiyuri is not a magical girl, yet tries to brave the dangers that Shimizu may face in order to provide assistance. She has a boyfriend who is the lead guitarist in a up-and-coming rock band. She and her two older sisters are referred to as the Trio de Board Babes by those who happen to know that all three of the Mitsurugi sisters do some kind of boarding. - Mitsurugi Kazuna: The middle Mitsurugi sister. 19 years old. She's very kind, fun, and outgoing. She plans to land a rich and dreamy boyfriend and live a life of adventure. Her hobby is snowboarding. She's nearly obsessed with fashion and cosmetics. - Mitsurugi Kasumi: The eldest Mitsurugi sister. 22 years old. She's highly competitive and carries a large ego. Her many times spent on the beach have left her darker skinned than her younger sisters. She is a superbly talented surfboarder. She only intends to fall for a guy who can dominate her in surfing, but that hasn't happened yet. She has a well guarded desire for cute things. - Mitsurugi Kazuki: The only male Mitsurugi sibling. 18 years old. A techie who spends countless hours buried in this new software or that new hardware. He and Shimizu were dating, and learning all about Ponpon has brought them together again. Despite his nerdy personality, he's actually quite attractive and has the attention of quite a female following. - Mitsurugi Kaede: Mother to Kiyuri, Kazuna, Kasumi, and Kazuki. 43 years old. Works out of her house as a consultant for troubled marriages and families. She's actually a martial arts expert who keeps in great shape and she loves her husband dearly. After all, he had to stand up to her father in order to win her hand. - Mitsurugi Kazuto: Father to Kiyuri, Kazuna, Kasumi, and Kazuki. 42 years old. He's the head surgeon for a local hospital. His bravery allowed him to stand up to Kaede's traditional father and win over Kaede's heart. He isn't happy because his job keeps him so busy, preventing him from spending time with his wife and children. - Ichiro Daisuke: Kiyuri's boyfriend. 19 years old. Lead guitarist of a local rock band. Like Kazuki, he's a handsome young lad who is currently practicing singing so he can serenade Kiyuri. - Aihara Chihase: Takuya's girlfriend. 14 years old. She doesn't like how Takuya is becoming interested in Shimizu. She's a talented artist and prefers to do landscapes. Despite the love triangle going on, she's still good friends with Shimizu and thinks of her as an older sister. - Hiragi Yayoi: Student Council Treasurer. 17 years old. Almost fanatically in love with Kazuki, she is in a loss as to how to become his girl, especially since Kazuki likes Shimizu. Now Shimizu has taken Yayoi under her wing in order to get her to open up her mind and wear less conservative clothing. Otherwise, it's just not fair competition. - Jennifer Hansen: Head Maid of the Hiragi Family. 31 years old. Actually a popular model from overseas who speaks fluent japanese as has a voluptuous body. She has a very active night life and especially enjoys karaoke. She's secretly eager to see Yayoi's development into becoming a confident and beautiful woman who doesn't hide her body behind conservative clothing. - Itsuki: Hiragi Family dog. 7 years old. Used be a white-furred bundle of unrelenting energy, but with age came more proper behavior. He's very dangerous to anyone who hurts Yayoi. Mysterious Magical Girl Name: Novaburst (she isn't using her real name) Intelligent Device: Viserot - Viserot is to Novaburst what Ponpon is to Solblaster (Shimizu). As Novaburst is much stronger than Shimizu, Viserot is much more powerful than Ponpon, taking up roles that Ponpon cannot do. Viserot is gold and crimson in coloration. Appearance: Only appears fully transformed. Just like Shimizu described her in thought, Novaburst is an older, curvier, more badass version of Shimizu herself. Her Intelligent Device and gear are gold and crimson in color. She wears heavier armor and has a larger, more threatening version of Ponpon as her Intelligent Device. Spells - Photonic Slayer - Novaburst's version of Shimizu's Ray Blade spell. Like a white-hot knife through partially melted butter. - Particle Pepper - Novaburst's version of Shimizu's Star Bolt spell. Every hit stings like all hell. - Starscatter Calamity - Novaburst's version of Shimizu's Spider Strike spell. An exponential increase in number of shots and homing ability. - Sunfire Breath - Novaburst's version of Shimizu's Flare Tongue spell. Hot enough to deal damage and dehydration to targets some distance from the spell's actual reach. - Gigablast Impact - Novaburst's version of Shimizu's Boom Burst spell. Punches clean holes in the most durable armor. - Celestial Incisor - Novaburst's version of Shimizu's Solar Slasher spell. Could possibly eat a small hole through the entire planet. - Ground Zero - Novaburst's version of Shimizu's Meteor Impact spell. Leaves a sizeable crater and the sonic wave travels far and tosses cars like cheap toys. - Divine Fury - Novaburst's version of Shimizu's Rippling Nova spell. Magic Description: Love magic, Alex's spell have a lot to do with the invisible ties of love between hearts. He's able to send magic down them, or change them into physical bindings, and read patterns through their power. His own spells are called Red Magic, and likely to get more powerful, White Magic is borrowed from his familiar and deals with lightning and holy spells. Red Magic: Ties of the Heart – Basic building block of several of his spells. Alex can establish red threads of fate between himself and another person, or object. These ties can be used to transfer magical power, healing energy, or communicate long distances. Also work as a tracking spell. Scarlet Bind – Constricts a target in ribbons of magical red fabric. The ribbon is stronger then it looks, and is difficult to break without magic. Can be used to channel magic, if Alex is touching part of it. Lotus Flash – Love hurts! An arrow of red magic that either explodes on impact, or just before. Releases a shockwave of red magical energy. Requires a bow and arrow. Therapy Wrap – Standard Magical Girl finishing heal. Red magical ribbons surround and seal/heal/purify a target. It's ambiguous, but powerful. Heart Sense – His magical awakening has given him the ability to read the feelings imprinted into something. Lets him understand things like paintings, poems, magical runes and other writings. Dancing Colors – A spell cast on a mirror or another reflective surface. Allows him to view people and things he's seen before, and track obvious magical energy. Reinforce – Alex can mend or strengthen magical barriers by layering it with the Ties that Bind. Thread Control – A mundane application of his magic, he can control threads in clothes, makes dressing a snap! White Magics: Sacred Shot – Bullets of purifying light fired from his fingertips. They burn, and follow their targets with a mind of their own! He can fire up to ten at once, five from each hand. They’re pretty tenacious. Sacred Surge – A powerful bolt of purifying lightning. The lightning doesn't home, but is faster and hits with a lot more force then Sacred Shot. Gale – A conjured wind blast, filled motes of light. The lights can cause small burns if they contact flesh, but are better suited to obstructing vision. A distracting defensive attack. Double Shield – Alex and Miranda can combine their disc shields to create one that's stronger then either individually. Teleport – Gathers glimmer motes around himself, then teleports to another location, with the glimmer motes signalling the entrance. Dramatic, and useful. Storm's Blessing – Drawing on Miranda's power, this spell conjures dragons made of White Lightning. The dragons are fast, and smart for an attack spell, they'll often go around enemy shields. Alex's strongest attack, it hurts. Familiar – Miranda: An elder female familiar from the other world. She's a skilled swordswoman and magician in her own right, specializing in lightning and purification spells. When joined with Alex, she lets him cast White Magic, shields his mind from mental attacks and grants him the ability to fly. Stealth Summon: Miranda can be summoned in the form of a dove for scouting, she's able to phase through mundane walls, and can release flashes of blinding light in this form. While in this form, her magical signature is heavily cloaked. True Form: For combat, Miranda can be released in her true form, an angel clad in shining white armor, armed with twin blades, a magical bow, and an impressive assortment of combat spells. Familiar Spells: Storm – With a flap of her wings, Miranda releases a flurry of purifying light motes. The light motes are moderately powerful and getting hit full force by the blast can cause serious damage! They aren't homing. Angel's Arrow – Fires can arrow of white magic from a conjured bow of white flames. The arrow is fast and extremely powerful, can cause great stress on shields. Storm Lash – Miranda summons a white ribbon, charged with purifying lightning. She uses it as a whip with frightening skill. Angel's Blades – Twin single edged long swords Miranda wields. They can fire crescents of purifying power at a distance and can cut through barriers. Can be controlled them without touching them. Heaven's Chrysanthemum – Miranda's ultimate attack, conjures a magical storm of wind, lightning and rain throughout a phantom zone. The lightning is magical, purifying and strikes with frightening accuracy and regularity, almost like the storm knows where you are. Final Exorcism – Miranda's ambiguous magical finisher. Her swords glow with purifying light, and fire a piercing shot of magical energy into a target to seal/heal/purify them. Change hurts, and so does this. Items: Sacred Blade – A double edged golden sword Alex can conjure. Can cut through barriers and be controlled without touching it. Sacred Bow – A golden longbow Alex can conjure, it fires arrows of red magic. Shikigami – A red ribbon that floats around him to shield him from attacks. It moves of its own will, and has a powerful field around it, making it hard to break. Barrier Jacket: Angel's Gift: A set of Miko's robes. Loose white top with broad sleeves, loose red pants and white socks. When the jacket's active, Alex changes into a girl, except the two ways that count. His hair grows longer and turns auburn, his eyes become green, and his voice changes. Very good at disguising his identity. Aside from being a convincing crossdress, it serves as a magic amp and armor. Pretty par for the course. Background: Alex is a 17 year old student, he doesn't like school much, as skips as often as he can. He's friends with a weirder crowd, and isn't popular by association. Gets decent marks in class, and doesn't like bullies, he often makes a point of standing up for the less popular. He dances and sews outside of class. He's always in fashion. Personality: Light hearted, likable and loyal to his friends, Alex is a good person to hang out with. He gets icy and cutting in combat, or around people he doesn't like. Important related NPCs: Granny: The old lady of the family, she takes care of the house work and cooking, and is surprisingly spry for her age. She often wonders why Alex looks like a girl, and why Leanne encourages him. Leanne Tachibana: The only member of his family who's gonna get any screen real screen time. She's a college student, a fashion diva and a tarot card reader, with blue hair! Leanne likes to help Alex and his little friends stay fashionable. She loves fish and has wild magic. Rin Kobayashi: A long time friend of Alex and a martial artist. She's got a temper and is part of the drama club. Lately, she's been passing her classes thanks to Shuno. She's got dark hair and is a lot stronger then she looks. Kenji Matsumoto: Another long time friend of Alex, he plays on most of the school's sport teams and knows more about computers then most nerds. He's leanly built, because of his age, but well muscled. Leanne's proud of how she's made him "Fashion." Shuno Mori: A bookworm and friend of Alex. One of the smartest girls in the school, she's been called a genius by teachers. She's very perceptive, and has an eye for details. Thanks to Leanne's kind teaching, she's become as pretty as she is smart. Mia Tsukino: A friend of Alex and self proclaimed Goth. Her hair's pale blond and everything she wears is black. She's got a dark outlook on life and a fascination with the occult. She wears a custom uniform in school, which includes a skirt, fishnet stockings, black nail polish and her trademark black ankh earrings. Otherwise, she looks pretty normal. |

Age: 15 Gender: Female Magic Type: Autekka Items: Bright Day, an Intelligent Device that can take the form of a naginata or spear (Aggressor and Shooting modes). The main core of the Device is a yellow orb embedded in a built up section just behind the weapon's head. Gold stripes form a sunburst pattern around it. The shaft is black and most of the rest is a dark metallic blue. The blade glows a faint yellow. Bright Day's inactive form is a necklace. Magic Description: Mitsuko's magic is particularly strong in dimensional effects and barrier manipulation. Her magic is red in colour, with yellow and purple creeping in for some effects. While more of a tank than a speedster, Mistusko does have one or two bursts of speed in order to get close. General Spells Impulse Wings: Small, thruster-like yellow energy wings on the ankles, forearms and back. While not actually flight capable, they allow mid-air maneuvering, higher jumps and absurdly low fall speed. Wing Cutter: More of an emergency weapon, one or more Impulse Wings can be focused into an energy blade. The wing looks more sharply defined and turns red. Aerial Step: Creates a midair platform for Mitsuko to stand on. She can summon them up quickly enough to hop between them. Impulse Rush: A quick burst of speed from the Impulse Wings, generally used for a charge. Mitsuko can't sustain high speeds. Triple Guard: Creating a three layer stack of disc shields, this provides much more protection at the cost of greater effort and a slightly longer casting time. Expanding Barrier: Mistsuko can temporarily expand her barriers far beyond what is normal. Its uses include expending a barrier as an ablative shield in order to buy time for a better defense, momentarily protecting others and forcing enemies back. Absolute Defense Seal: Exactly what it says - an incredibly powerful defensive barrier that toally encloses Mistuko. However, it puts a tremendous strain on Mitsuko so she'd have to be extremely desperate to use it. Her ability to perform other actions is extremely limited while it is up. Celestial Sphere: A magical explosive charge wrapped in a protective barrier, making it reasonably resistant to countermeasures. This shield is destructive, making it burrow into defenses before exploding. It can be remotely detonated. The basic sphere can be cast in either of Bright Day's modes, although it is slower to fire in Aggressor mode. Variants are: - Expansion: A bombardment spell that is essentially a larger, more powerful Celestial Sphere. It travels faster and has a longer range, much more destructive power and superior barrier penetration. Shooting Mode only. - Sustained: Maintains the casting array, allowing Celestial Spheres to be fired rapidly. Shooting Mode only. - Barrage: A more advanced technique, this summons multiple Celestial Spheres at once. They hover near Mitsuko and are dormant until fired. Aggressor Mode (for stabbity) Shield/Barrier Eruption: A counterattack, Mitsuko slices out through her own protective shield or barrier, disrupting it. This causes a powerful outwards explosion, often causing added backlash from the attack it was blocking. Can be dangerous to use. Sphere Eruption: Mitsuko slices through one of her Celestial Spheres, creating a powerful, short ranged burst of energy. Edge Wave: Ranged attack, creating a energy wave with a slash of a weapon. Reasonably short ranged but very quick to fire. Phantom Cut: Phases an edged weapon through living creatures, causing nonlethal, non-physical wounds. For example, a limb sliced through would be numbed to the point of uselessness past the area that was cut. Applies to Edge Wave as well. Dawn Saber: Mitsuko's most powerful pure attack technique in Aggressor Mode, Bright Day's blade is replaced by an energy blade. A much larger energy blade. Horizon Corridor: A line of sight teleport for when Mitsuko really needs to get somewhere fast. It has a charge time of a few seconds, where she must remain immobile. A large, black lens appears in front of her, pointed in the rough direction she will be heading, particles streaming back from it. The gate also acts as a powerful frontal shield. Shooting Mode (for when you want to shoot someone with your polearm) Orbit Dagger: A mid-range spell, creating three or more dagger-like energy projectiles around the target. A split second later, they shoot inwards. Daybreak Spear: Usually used as a finisher. Mitsuko supercharges Bright Day with magic and hurls it at her enemy, hitting with extraordinary force. Extremely good at piercing barriers. Mistuko has to go and get it back afterwards. Daybreak Phoenix: For emergencies only. Barrier Jacket: The base layer of Mitsuko's Barrier Jacket is a red skirt and a black shirt with yellow trim and a starburst pattern just below the neckpiece. There's two armour-like panels over the skirt protecting the thighs. Over this she wears a waist length red, long sleeved jacket. An attachment including a high collar adds two long, tapering shoulder guards that vaguely resemble a cape. Mitsuko's hair is bound back by a large, yellow ribbon. Personality: Upbeat and imaginative, Mitsuko has a tendency to act before thinking things through fully. Recognising this, she makes an effort to affect a stoic mindset to counterattack her natural inclinations. It has mixed success. Headstrong at times, she's fiercely protective of her friends. Background: A largely carefree schoolgirl, Mitsuko is the (non-identical) twin sister of Akari Shimizu. She's quite involved in the local community. She's a valued member of the athletics club and tends to have fairly good grades. She was the class representative at her old school and helps out at a local shrine after school. Family Father: Shimizu Ichiro, whom works for a telecommunications company. Ichiro is a network engineer and has comprehensive knowledge of computers and network systems. He is a kind and dutiful father who is devoted to maintaining a stable and loving family. Mother: Shimizu Megumi, a career schoolteacher, she adores children and enjoys helping people learn to better themselves. Older Brother: Shimizu Ryuichi, a college student following his father in the path of network engineering, though perhaps not with his heart. Ryuichi is an athletic and competitive boy who enjoys sports more than he does his studies. Mitsuko and Ryuichi enjoy a spirited, antagonistic rivalry. Younger Brother: Shimizu Kenta, a middle-school student and shameless lover of super-robot and mecha anime, particularly the Gundam series. Mitsuko teases him about it and prays he'll never find out that she watches some of his shows when he's not looking. Sister: Shimizu Akari: My, who could this be? Friends At school, Mitsuko is close friends with Sakiko Yamagata, a member of the Dramatics Club and prone to overacting, and Sosuke Tamachi, a fellow member of the athletics club. |

Name: Demi Alias: Nexus Age: 16 Gender: Female Magic Type: Verda Personality: Somewhat of the shy type, not really doing all that much in the way of talking to others and sharing in the social trends which is normally typical. She tries to talk to other people, but normally it doesn't go to well, except being slightly friendly with them. Probably found to be a bit creepy because of a few strange quirks she has by a good portion of others, she's a bit distant from the rest of her peers. Training in Tai Ji, and studying psychology and philosophy are what she does mostly. Its basically her main goal to figure out what makes this world go around, and she figures that this sort of thing is about the only thing she can really excel at. Her athletics being decent, but she's nothing extraordinary. Prone to moments of insanity, due to the fact she is almost certainly clinically insane. But the imaginary friends she made up for herself internally is more of a coping mechanism than anything else, although lately it has been making her friends who know the depths of it and what its doing to her very worried, and not just for her sake. Magic Description: Siphon. She drains magic, and learns fragments that she twists into her own imagined forms. Basically, she doesn't possess much magic power of her own, though she will slowly learn how to make her own magic like most of the others. Instead, she steals life, magic, power, and such from anything else to use for herself, retaining fragments to learn and craft new spells and such. ~ Siphon Branch • Drain The World — Essentially, naturally she takes in magic to her own body, it gets drawn to her so instead of a magical presence marking how strong she was, there would be a complete and somewhat disturbing void surrounding her. Short version, she eats magic. ° Cone Drain — She focuses the aura into a specific area, draining from that section of her range only but draining a lot faster. An ideal way to gather magic if the majority of it is concentrated in one direction. ° Black Hole — Focuses her whole mind onto the aura rather than letting it be the passive breathing in of magic it usually is. Can be combined with cone drain for immense draining from a distance rivaling the strings themselves, but will only have serious impact once Cone Drain is learned how to be done in a totally passive. • Siphon String — This is basically the same thing, her absorbing magic into herself, but this time part of her 'barrier jacket' flies off and attaches to a particular source. She very swiftly takes into herself all that she can from the source and supplements herself with it. Can be tied with multiple others to fire a siphon rope of sorts. ° Devour — Pulls the opponent into yourself, attempting to siphon all their magic and life in one fell swoop. Can be used on generally anything, though contact with the chest or a similarly large portion of your surface area is required. Improved on with such things as Red Star and increases in effectiveness the more strings she has. Definitely the fastest siphon or drain, and arguably her most powerful move overall. ° Carapace of Absorption — Her strings absorb magic passively on contact, its part of how they function. She's essentially a magical parasite after all. As such, whenever something contacts her with a magical effect, whether an attack or a buff, depending on how much of her strings are active, some of it is converted directly into energy and magic for her use, aspect preservation depending on the sheer size taken in. ~ Imagination Branch *2 • White Star — Its a white orb shining brightly that she conjures. It floats around her head and body usually. Attunements: Celestial Sphere, Magical Stone ° Infuse — The White Star can absorb magic just like she can. though to a much smaller extent. ° Magic Well — Along with her costume and Mogura, the White Star helps to store magic and life force she attained, incase she wants to split it for some reason, or she somehow has too much and just needs to offset it somewhere. ° Attune — The White Star can adjust itself to become different forms and take on different attributes, depending on what magic it holds inside itself. For example, it absorbs fire and obfuscation magic. It can then change itself to those elements. *This can allow it to instantly change its color to the color of any other star in an instant, gaining its attributes and abilities while retaining some of its own. This makes the white star the most versatile and powerful of them all.* ° Expel — The White Star can blast out magic in rays, waves, just about any sort of way she can think of it to shoot it out. Essentially, its a way of shooting the magic back out. • Blue Star — Magical glittering tranquility, this star embodies peace and swift but fluid moment. It prefers to stay aloof from Demi, keeping itself a heavy distance away from her, but its massive aura still easily keeping her inside its embrace, slightly tinting the whole zone it affects a deep blue. ° Space Distortion — In this area of effect, everything but Demi is given a general feeling of being slowed down. Its almost akin to one moving through water, thickness and time slowing things and such depend on how close one is in proximity. This can be directed in a constant light on one direction, and affects those in there much more, but those everywhere else in its zone much less. Demi herself, feels a slight bubbly sensation, and a huge calm in this light, which produces the second effect here. ° Rejuvenation — Perhaps one of her most adored skills, the aura it gives off also boosts the magical energies of calm and restoration to those around it that she deems friendly. However, just like the first one, 'friendly' tends to be a hard thign to focus on, and inexperienced will likely clump all but self for the most part into the 'not with' side of this. Its magical enhancement greatly boosts her own magical stores, and improves the sheer amount she drains from things around her, both of which she desperately needs. • Red Star — A sphere of pure passion, seeming to have a glow greater than the rest of them. It floats around, normally very close to Demi. It actually a lot of the time is directly in her chest, its semi-imaginary nature making it able to take up the same space at the same time. ° Passionate Fury — When this is inside somebody 'usually, but not exclusively Demi', it empowers them. All their attributes, such as physical speed, strength, stamina, and energy go up tremendously. ° Condense — Alternatively, it can fly into a magical attack, remaining in it and making it slightly smaller, but far more powerful. If it stays in it upon actual contact with the target it releases its own blast of magical might in an explosion and then can be resummoned by Demi. ~ Genesis Branch • Unreal Friends — Imaginary things she thinks up to keep her company. ° Eyes — Called eyes, though they can be of any sense. Extending her magic out to notice things in other areas basically. ° Critters — Aw... little things are so cute.... except when they aren't. These things are generally small things, protecting or otherwise helping Demi. ° Guardian — Big thing, varying in form due to situation. Its normally big and scary, and aggressive due to not being manifest unless she's in serious danger. • Voices — The things in her head that talk and spur her on mentally. They can come out and talk to others, but normally don't do so without great reason. ~ Other Branch • Special — She increases all her stuff by charging her body and mind with magic. Her strings and self flash rapidly and emanate power, her draining, speed, strength, and the like going skyrocketing upwards as her magical metabolism shoots. This however, burns up tremendous magic, takes a lot to initiate, and will likely last no more than a few seconds. Think of it like a star for a mario game, but a lot less of the total invulnerability. ° Sparkle — Her physical capabilities are enhanced, and so is her barrier. Essentially, a buff to most of everything, these buffs are adjustable mid transformation. ° Spatial Mind — When using this, she almost has a hyper awareness, that is, she feels like time is in slow motion all around her, and her thinking becomes a lot clearer. • Emotional Projection Aura — It projects outwards from her, her emotions that is. Makes her unbearable easy to read normally, but at the same time affects everybody near her. Promotes emotions in others, which Drain The World sucks up after they are felt and let back off, its a symbiotic effect really. Items/Familiar: Mogura: Her doll, black, white, soft and fluffy. It animates and becomes her familiar, since even before she used to carry it around wherever she went. Now she does even more because it can talk back to her, and not just in her own mind. Although, the imaginary friend doll might conflict with the actual one, and screw her up. Costume: Totally jet black dress with frills and shinning white trim, and puffs on the shoulders. It protects her a tiny bit, but is much less about protection than it is about enhancing her movement and allowing her to siphon magic into herself. It does seem to be made of tons upon tons of threads. Note, currently, she needs Mogura to transform. The threads partially come from it, though they don't seem to be there before or afterwards, rather literally appearing during transformation. Background: Demi is known a bit around school, about as much as anyone else that is. She participates in several small activities and keeps herself in shape, making a small and personal circle of friends that she talks to. These friends are pretty much the only people who know that she doesn't have a real family and lives somewhere hidden, her made up family being a facade. These are the groups of friends she trusts a bit, and is open to, but to everybody else, Demi is very reserved. This special circle are the people she completely considers to be her family due to the absence of anything else even resembling one, though in reality they aren't anything more than simply her friends. Also, to help fill the gap she feels from being so alone, Demi has made up special imaginary beings to comfort her and help her get through day to day life. What used to be her family, she barely remembers now. It was such a while ago, she can scarcely even recall why they are gone anymore. Even if they were the ones to disappear from her life, or if she ran from them is all a big blur. But thats the past, right now she's trying to get a degree, learn all sorts of different things, and all of that stuff. Her research and study methods seem a bit different from the normal ways, particularly due to the fact that she has very little resources of her own and has to borrow from others. Her friends usually discourage it, especially in the times she forgets to ask beforehand, but in the end things normally turn out good enough. |
Once I got some time to myself, making a character wasn't so hard. At least now I have less course load and more free time tp post.
Name: Dojima Ryotaro Age: 17 Gender: Male Magic Type: Autekka Items: Jax: Most of its time is spend pretending to be an ordinary grey and black backpack which Dojima never seems to take off, because Jax has latched itself to the poor mage. This Intelligent Device speaks through a mechanical gurgle which is almost impossible to understand. Even the printouts Jax generates are scrambled and hard to understand. When visible and not uncomfortably snug on the young mage, Jax appears to be a floating mechanical crab spider with glowing blue eyes. Magic Description: Jax’s motto for Dojima is this: Be where they aren’t. Short range teleportation is no small miracle for this techomage. Jax uses many implements to optimize Dojima’s chance to dodge an attack. His magic signature is much more subtle than others but it is definitely infrared in color. More of a skirmisher, Dojima can spray shoots at close range, or focus projectiles at vulnerabilities at long range. Barrier Jacket: Unfortunately whatever is wrong with Jax has corrupted several programs, including the Barrier Jacket that came standard. All Jax safely manifests are attack directional gloves and wrap around goggles that are just cool looking. General Return Home: Jax can predetermine one spot relative to earth and calls it home. As long as Jax stays on earth, he can teleport home. Short Range Teleport: No matter what Dojima is doing, whether peacefully eating tuna salad or battling hostile globs, Jax can artfully reposition him in space to dodge the green goo of monsters or the errant flying broccoli. Stealth Disappearing: Moving more than three meters at a time will activate Jax’s cloaking. While cloaked Dojima is not invisible, like Jax is able to on his own, but obscured to those looking at him. He becomes that much harder to hit. Eye Bite: This power is actually an attack to the visual information centers of one video device or observing human. Jax attempting to communicate with others sends undecipherable messages(static to electric sources, random images to organics), leaving them blind to Dojima’s presence. Battle Panic Gun: Dojima holds his plams towards the target in a moment of panic and Jax rapidly fires beams of energy at the subject to Dojima’s near death experience. Sniper: From a comfortably long distance Dojima can cock his finger at a far away baddie and let loose one of Jax’s guided shoots. Plant Bomb: It’s actually scary how similar this programmed power is to regular teleporting. Thanks to bad wiring and coding, Jax transports a ball of highly explosive energy on or even into a its target. Dojima often wonders how badly damaged Jax really is. Too bad he’ll never tell. Background: Dojima has been distraught and distracted in school lately. And has been spending more time alone than usual. He says he's just studying, but his parents and friends are worried about this sudden change in behavior. They've noticed he's traded his colorful red back pack slung over one shoulder for that steel grey mess tightly strapped to his back. In Reality, Dojima was blessed with his own Intelligent Device the same time the other Autekka did. But all its done since was to attach itself to Dojima without any farther explanation. His classmates notice a new backpack but only true mages will recognize Jax as a Device in this form. Family: Sōji: Dojima's yet to be seen father. Ami: Dojima's little sister. Six years younger, she is an introverted girl with long groomed black hair who draws impressionistic manga reflecting her subject's inner emotions and thoughts. |
