"I don't remember how to do that spell. I know a spell to throw a wall of meat at her, but I'd have to look in my book for the spell you want. I wrote my spells down so I wouldn't have to remember."

"I have to make it to Lady Iris and Lord Irine..." Nuri panted as he continued running. Lady Irine had bid him to escape while he could, and he could only pray that Lady Irine had taken care of the evil warrior.

Unfortunately... it seems his prayers weren't answered.

"Ah, there you are little one!" Skurai said, grinning madly, "Talatsu bid me to find you quickly, for the woman one served to whet his appetite you see." He chuckled, seeing the terrified look on Nuri's face, "Oh don't be afraid! Talatsu loves children. He loves your youth, your energy... and your blood!"

Fenris heard the others discussing throwing a wall at the valkyrie. "If you haven't noticed, she can fly." She said, quite bitterly, because it seems she lost to Sara Irine once again, "She'll just dodge it."

"What's happening, what's going on?" A familiar voice cried out. Lidia had somehow found her way to the side of the bridge with the others. She looked around frightened, a large, full bag on her back, "There's no way we can hope to fight her!" She said, observing the Valkyrie. Even though Lidia hadn't been there during most of the fight, she had seen the brdge getting destroyed, so she knew a small extent to the Valkyrie's power, "It's suicide! Even animals know when to turn and run!"

Vace, who had been hurled clear by the blast and suffered a mild head wound and somewhat battered armor, was now quite annoyed. He looked at the theif and said, "First, it's not you buisness if we can take her or not, or if we decide to. You can run just as easily as we can stay. Second, I was going to ask what that bag was, but I have a good feeling, and I don't think now is the time to debate it. Third, animals run because they are too stupid to think about things and only fight or fly. And fourth... I think it's best if we resolve our issues with miss Irine another time, and take our leave of this city now."

Dart winced as he pulled some small rocks out of his arm. This definately was not his day. "I agree with Vace...and probably about everyone else here," he said, not wanting to fight anymore.

"As much as I hate to leave the Hall of Alchemy, its designed to be easily destroyable, and easily rebuilt. We should haul out."

The rubbed his left arm uncomfortably.

Darilk hadn't been thrown very far, due to his size and the weight of his full armor. He had still left a rather gouge in the ground where he skidded to a stop, and it had taken him a moment to stand, as that his haste spell seemed to have worn out, and a few more to walk back to the rest of the group, just in time to hear Vace and Lidia.

"The girl is correct. The valkyrie are goddesses of battle and death. I have heard legend that they are responsible for deciding who will die in a battle, and then leading the souls of warriors to the next life. To fight her would be death." Darilk spoke expressionlessly, but he turned toward the Valkyrie, his sword held at ready. "If you are unprepared for that finality, now is the time to leave."

Sang found the group, a little brushed but overall in good condition. Since most of the group was pllanning on running, Sang was just going to follow.

"I have a cunning plan that can get us out of this problem." Methusaleh said raising a withered boney finger. He smiled a wide smile and stroked his beard with his free hand.

Lidia cleared her throat, at the talk of them going to retreat NOW, "I don't know about the layout of Fayon, but all I know, is the way I got here, is through there." She said, pointing at the broken bridge.

Skurai stopped in mid swing for the children when he sensed a much more powerful aura... more powerful blood, "Do you smell that Talatsu?" He said, looking around for the source, letting the child get away for the time being, he could always find him again anyway

"The time has come, Father!" Sara shouted, pulling out her Haeryongdo, "I waited twelve years.. to see you dead!"

The battle seemed to come to a dead stop as the sword pierced Lord Irine's chest.

"Faaather!! NO!" Iris cried.

"Now! While she's distracted!" Fenris looked around for anyone that might be able to reach Sara Irine.

(OOC: Sara and Lord Irine are standing on an independant chunk of bridge, but it's not to far from where the heroes are, so you would be able to jump the gap if your character was a good jumper.)

"I see the opening, but I don't think I could reach her, or even do any damage. <Sigh> I wish someone had a ranged weapon. This would be a lot easier..."

OOC: I think I know how this will end anyway. If I'm right, then we REALLY should start running.
