Mmmmmmm Food...

So... we've all had the big food discussions around here before. So, I was sent a link today that I really wanted to share with my fellow food enthusiasts. Now... some of these items within are a bit gross... but others look downright tasty!

Without further adieu, ladies and gentlemen of NPF, I present to you:

THIS is why you're fat!

I see the Meat Ship is on there. I would not have accepted this site for the site it claims to be without that.

I once cut a (pre-fried) hamburger pattie I had left over in slices and put it on a cheese pizza. That got pretty disgustingly greasy after three quarters or so. However, the same sort of sliced hamburger pattie fried and stuffed into pita bread with tomatoes, salad and yoghurt was positively awesome.

Honestly most of these items represent an outright worrying outlook on food in general.

The fact that people come up with things like the "Krispy Kreme Bacon Cheddar Burger" is more than mildly disturbing. The Rommlette? Ugh... That makes me want to throw up.

But then others... like the Chicago Deep Dish and Whatafarm burger are enticing and I wouldn't be adverse to trying.

I say from experience that deep fried Mars Bars are truly, truly good, and probably Scotland's greatest contribution to global cuisine. You just need to make sure to run a mile or two the next day to compensate.

Honestly that Ultimate Snack Stadium is really cute and ingenious. I could see making/having one of those for a big superbowl party or something.

Most of the rest of that stuff... ugh. I was hungry for lunch but I think I lost my appetite. Please tell me people don't eat some of this stuff. I'm not a big meat eater and I think the Meat Ship made me gag a little bit. XD; And what's with all of the bacon?

The Meat Ship is the pinnacle of human Meat Advancement! It is a monument to our meaty glory! Bask in it's wonder and revel in its meaty goodness!

dude... "The Garbage Plate" ?!

A combination of either cheeseburger, hamburger, Italian sausages, steak, chicken, white or red hots, a grilled cheese sandwich, fried fish, or eggs, served on top of one or two of the following: home fries, fries, beans, and mac salad. The plate is adorned with optional mustard, onions or hot sauce.

Some people will just eat anything!... Damn!

Well I am a massive meat eater, meat is my favourite form of food beyond all things, and even I was slightly sickened by it. I think it's the sausages that does it.

Although the Turbaconucken actually sounds pretty damn nice. It combines my 4 favourite meats into 1 meal, what more can I ask for?

I'm kind of a fan of the bacon shell breakfast taco!

Before the Meat Ship, there was the Meat House.

After the Meat Ship, there was the Meat Tank. But that one's kinda lacking that certain something. No, not "grease."

I'm pretty sure in its original incarnation the Garbage Plate is what you get when you're out late, drunk and looking for food, and the restaurants are technically closed but still looking to get rid of the day's scraps and leftovers. Not leftovers from meals, just what they didn't sell during the day.

As for deep frying, I had some deep fried ice cream once. Reading that on the menu was a bit surreal, although I was vaguely aware of deep fried Coke. It was really good.
