You know what, I think they are being completely honest with him, but that that length of time will screw him over believably in the end. Also, I'm beginning to wonder at the idea of Roy in the Upper Planes fighting off invading forces.

I'm thinking it'll end up more along the lines of V agreeing to them, spending as little time as possible to do the whole thing and then he'll spend the time with them...And that's it. Then, 50-something pages later they show up again with a gigantic army attacking the Upper Planes.

Holy shit.

I wonder why they actually brought that little piece of information up. Even if the one who said it was lawful, such a thing wouldn't require him to do THAT.

To prove that they really weren't doing it to betray him. It was just a way of conning him into it, though his slight leaning towards the temptation of ultimate power showed his true colors to be selfishness above his need to save his family.

As soon as I saw the title of the comic, I knew it was going to be great.
