Keep that in mind next time you're playing D&D: your fallen comrades aren't dead, they're unexplored assets.

Rations (emergency or otherwise), fish-bait, catapult ammo, "tension release" (if you know what I mean), reanimation by the necromancer (can be coupled with that last one if you really want to), door-stopper, coat/cloak holder, knife holder, bait to distract oozes, source of ammo for the sling-user, well-poisoner...

The list goes on and on.

It's burning love between RM and BM, the only true couple.

But anyway, you can always get pants from the death guy, but alas, it seems that none of those jerks in the comic like to wear red pants (minus that guy who wears them).

I think fuel is pretty high on the list.

Secretly, Black Mage loves Red Mage's hat.

Red Mage is on fire about 40% of the time. He leads an interesting life.

What's funny is this time it wasn't his idea and he isn't excited about it.

Next time Edge dies in FinalFantasy4, I'll try using him as flame-sword for Cecil as well.

Yeah, I hate Edge. He's unworthy sharing his class and skills with someone as awesome as thief.
