To Buy Or Not To Buy
The contest is atwixt Resident Evil 5, Little Big Planet and Prince of Persia.
I'm antsy about POP as I hear it's much too easy, so it's probably only between RE5 and LBP. And I have no idea which one to get. |
Which ever one you pick you'll be commiting suicide regardless.
Edit: I would say toss a coin, but if you're a fan of the Resident Evil series I see no reason why you wouldn't want to continue the adventure. Now with 100% more motorbike chain gangs. |
It really depends on how much time you think you'll be making levels in LBP. If you don't plan to create the fuck out of some levels, RE5 will be your best bet. Personally, though, I'd recommend just renting both.

Do you have a friend to play with or are you aone of those losers who play single player? Cause you should totally get RE 5 if you have a buddy to play with, or access to the PSN.

No, but seriously... out of those 3 options i would say that Little Big Planet seems to be the one that will give you more replayability. While Resident 5 is pretty much worth of it's price tag... i can probably pass on PoP if what you want is longevity and challenge |
I guess out of those three options I would suggest Left 4 Dead.
|
I still say rentals for all of them, possibly a purchase if you find any aspect of either worth lots and lots of replay.

LittleBigPlanet cause it's a platformer and platformers > any other video game genre.

Never played PoP, but from what I hear it's extremely easy and short, so I'd pass on it. Out of LBP and Resi I'd say Resi, without question. LBP was fun and all, but you have to spend absolutely ungodly amounts of time with it creating levels if you really wanna get every penny out of it, which is honestly quite a daunting task.
Resi though is just a really damn good action game and continues the story of a brilliant series nicely, so if you're a fan it's really a must have. It does get a little repetitive at times though, enemies will swarm you constantly and the action almost never lets up, which can get quite draining at times (I find myself unable to keep playing after an hour and keep taking breaks before moving on). But it is a good game. |
