I was thoroughly pleased that she actually got to be really cool for once. Roy was pretty crazy though. The whole time reading it I was thinking about how cool all of that would be anime-ized.

So: New episode up.
I liked it; a good amount of exposition with a decent framing device. We got to see The Truth in his first anime appearance, which is nice.
And the Elrics are going to Liore after all. Good; Liore is an important place.

Why go with red over pink? And why white over tanned?

Wow, there was a lot more than I expected in this episode. They seemed to have taken stuff from a good many chapters, including some that are fairly far off. Make me wonder how much they will show when Ed talks to Izumi later.

I think it makes more sense for her to have a tanned skin, why, with her living in the desert and all that. Manga authors tend to only distinguish between white and black skins because of the medium limitations, besides.

Looking at the pictures, I like the new hair better and I also prefer the old skin tone.

Man, so much awesomeness in one episode. I always thought Roy's visit in the manga to be so much sadder, with Ed being all defeated, and I was right, the anime version was awesome though.

And it's really cool to see stuff that had already been covered before in the first anime again, but drawn totally differently. And I still love the new art.

Randomly, I totally mentioned to one of my friends who watches and reads Naruto today that FMA will have finished three times before Naruto even finishes once. It fills me with amusement.

Where? I can't find it!
