After 20 minutes of waiting, nothing responded to the shots.

Since the votes for staying and searching for the creature outdid the leaving votes, the team continued to search for the creature.

At the moment, they could either go east into the canyon more, go into the cave spotted earlier by the sniper, or go along the ledges and search from higher ground.

OOC: Split up or vote.

"I say high ground offers the most potential safety unless this thing flies around, which it might. However, the cave would be quite dangerous if the monster was in it. I vote we continue down the canyon, as it is the best of all worlds, in searching for the monster, and in general safety," Charles said.

Marke smirked. "I was just trying to get it to us faster. We'd be searching all night if I didn't fire that shot. It'll be here in no time."



-----20 minutes later--------


"Damn. Alright, I guess we'll split up. I don't know about any of you, but I think our best bet is going into the caves. Anyone who wants to come along should, for extra firepower. I have a feeling it'll take a lot to bring down whatever we're fighting. And while you're at it, bring a flashlight."

Kalland glanced at Marke and readied his NVGs "I was never too trusting of flashlights but if I get to see this ugly bastard up close then this whole trip's been worth while, lets roll!" He glanced around at the others "alright I know for a fact that this group has more nutcases than just me..."

It does, but this nutcase happens to want a bigger gun if we're going to be even close to being able to take this thing down. Strategy, folks, think tactically. The public will not riot if we cordon off the canyon for a few days, call it a chemical spill or something, ust be ready to deal with those ELF freaks if we do.

I didn't spend the past 9 years of my life in the most dangerous places in the world and learn nothing, people.

"He's speaking reason. Actually, how fast do you think we could get a crew down here to airlift the corpse? If we haven't found whatever and killed it by then, then we learn from the corpse. Sound good? And to that effect, we split half and half. Half goes above to direct the chopter and look, the other half goes into the cave."

OOC: Since I can't think of a fancy story for this, think of this as the first one shot RP.

IC:

Some one radios in for choppers to come in and airlift the creature back to the lab. After that was done, they teams began to seperate (Just say where you are going).

ooc: Dammit, I asked for a gun.

Charles said, "Umm, I think I'll head for the cave. Most supernaturals look for a good "Home" once they enter a new plain, and a cave is isolated, protected, and hidden, so it's a good place to start looking."

"I'll come with." said Jordan. "The bodies been taken back, so I got my wish."
