Toradora! just ended, discuss!
 

So, I rememebr this anime being hyped up quite awhile back on here, so i gave it a shot.

Freakin fantabulous anime. I loved it. The last episode aired last night and I just watched the sub. I loved every second of it.

What's everyone's take on the anime now that it's finished?

I felt the climax of the final episode was about a third of the way through when Taiga and Ryuuji kissed. I freakin' loved the last episode, though I have to say that I liked episode 24 a bit more, just because it had more heartrending/heartwarming moments. There were a lot of sad moments that I smiled at because of the feeling of things being resolved and moving towards the climax and whatnot. Also, awesome as Taiga is, Minorin is my personal fav. Also, favorite episode of the series? 13. That race was fucking epic.

In conclusion, RT finish watching Toradora!

I about freaked out towards the ends whne the credits started playing and everything hadn't exactly been "worked out" I kept saying ' That can't be it, that cant be it!"

Then they gave me the ending i was looking for. *whew* they almost ruined my day. noncon, yea that scene was really epic! But i don't think it was the climax, but rather it made you feel bad about what happened next because of how close they had gotten.

I think they're freaking out because they kissed. Also, I got that from a site that is like Kotaku, but I don't dare link it. Besides, they very rarely have stuff that cool anyways.

Since I didn't read the novels, the series lost a lot when it was sure to end with Taiga and Ryuuji.
Till that point it was a really fresh thing, then it became just another retelling of more/less the same story that always goes.


With that in mind, the ending wasn't anything special.

Still a good thing though.

It was always sure to end with Taiga and Ryuuji. With a show like Toradora! the focus is more on the how it gets there than anything else, which I feel the show did spectacularly and much better than any other romantic comedy I've ever seen.
