FFCC: The Crystal Bearers (MAY CONTAIN CONTENT INAPPROPRIATE FOR CHILDREN)
 

The Crystal Bearers' website officially launched last week and it's been totally crazy. Each time the crystal fills a new video gets uploaded.

I... I just cannot describe them. Go watch them.

Also, I loved his little Spider Man trick.

The good news is that I've heard that the price of the original Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles has dropped to 30 dollars USD.

20 for the game, and 10 for a gamecube.

I just hope they don't go and pull a jackass move with this game like putting it only one some obscure hand held console that no one cares about or just the wii. Y'know, cuz that'd be a real jackass move.

EDIT: Dammit, those Jackasses made it wii exclusive.

I just can't determine whether or not it's multiplayer. FFCC was alright as a singleplayer game, but I could see getting three people and three more GBAs and making it awesome. Just cost prohibitive.

Last I remember, the FFCC games have only appeared on Nintendo systems thus far. Chill out dude.

Single-player. This game is supposed to take place a thousand-years after the original Crystal Chronicles. Also, features an open world.

If you want an awesome expansion for the original title try Echoes of Time and Rings of Fate for DS.

I just watched what I think is the first video (It's Going to be a Long Night) and I'm like...

What did I just watch? I'm waiting for something to happen and... nothing happens. What the hell was that?

Yeah, this is just the first time I've not had a Nintendo console when it happened. :(

NEW VIDEO IS UP

I think that it is trying to showcase some of the game mechanics. Just like the most recent one, the first video features how enemies interact with each other or against Layle. I suppose they are trying to emphasise the "sandbox"-like approach to this game by doing so.

It just occurred to me that the FFCC series has covered a bunch of different genres/gameplay aspects thus far, like Squeenix is trying to break into new markets and first testing it with FF-branded new games.

I for one am happy to be their guinea pig.
