I was just gonna make this topic, and yeah sounds great, wonder if they're gonna make it more traditional Fallouty cause that would be fun. Hell just making it in the same way as Fallout 3 and getting Obsidian's guys to cover the writing would be awesome so we don't end up with crappy endings like Bethesda always manages to make. And of course more awesome NPCs, though Bethesda is admittedly getting better at that, writing is still a weakness of theirs.

While everything you said is true I'm more drawn to the idea of --

Having played (admittedly only a short bit of) Fallout 1, I think I prefer Fallout 3's gameplay, thank you.

Still, after Fallout: Gamble 'Till You're Broke, I'd like a Fallout somewhere else.
Like... go to Europe, or somethin'? See what's shakin' over there.

But that'll probably never happen anyway.

After NWN2, whenever I hear Obsidian I feel nervous. Maybe that's just me though.

Mask of the Betrayer was one of the best RPG campaigns in recent memory.

That reminds me; my computer can totally run NWN2, I should get it.
I think that if it was more like the originals, they would take some kind of analogous grouping of the things that were good about Fallout 3 and turn it into something new altogether.

'Scuse me? I didn't hear you over Marten turning into the physical incarnation of a God Dragon so he could fight the embodiment of torture, pain, suffering and natural disasters after tearing through an over run Imperial City.

Sorry, I didn't hear you over how underwhelming that was when it should have been fucking awesome.

I heard Noncon but I couldn't hear Seil over how annoying it was that an NPC fought the last boss for you.

I guess I have pretty selective hearing or something.
