Short RP - Revenge on the Devil (Sign up)
 

After watching something, this idea came in my head.

You are all people who made deals with the devil. However, the devil is tricky and evil, so most of your deals ended up with you screwed over. Now you want to get back at the devil any way possible.

I can't decide on a genre/time period, so lets say the devil is able to go to any universe/dimension (So some one can be a barbarian from some fantasy place, while another is some half-cyborg guy from the future).

Examples of a devil's deal. Some great warrior from a fantasy placed traded in his sense of touch for a sword which can cut through anything. He tested it on a rock, the sword cut through it, then broke. So now he lost his sword and can't feel anything (It's a disadvantage).

Another - Some guy traded in his (Insert something precious here) to be the most handsome man ever. Now he is a very hairy man, basically a walking hairball. To some fat girl somewhere you really likes hairy men, he is the most handsome man ever. Any shaving instantly grows back.

Some examples of revenge on the devil.

Go beat him up (Unlikely)
Try to trick him to get back you're lost thing (Unlikely)
Try to trick him to make him lose something he loves (Unlikely)

Note that the devil is a kleptomaniac, loves betting and gambling, and is a womanizer (Though not an idiot).

This sounds intresting, but I think it would be better if it were only one set time period, mainly modern day. Although I'm signing up anyway. Where's the sign up sheet?

I figured it wouldn't be very important in a short RP like this (Though this RP could go on for a long time theoretically if people keep losing and keep trying, but unlikely), but here is one.

Oh, and when you do the How he screwed you over, it should be very bad, no minor things. The What you gave the devil should also be something very important to the person.

Edit - Also, whatever What he gave you, should sound good at first, but then is revealed to be bad in How he screwed you over.

I remember reading a collection of short stories about deals with the devil. The book was pretty entertaining

I would like to read that book... Deals with the devil are always funny.

I can't for the life of me remember the title. It was funny though. The best one was the guy who found a mail order form that gave him wealth, fame, love, and power over others. Eventualy he ordered all of them and his power over others was that he became hell's record keeper.

Background: James was a computer wiz. That is until he made a deal with a devil to meet the perfect women. The Devil introduced him to the most stunningly beautiful Red head, she's smart, she's funny, she's into the same things as James, she is also a lesbian.

Should have been "she's into the same things as James, including women."

And good character, any plans on how you intend to try and get back at the devil?
