Hey, I’m back (again) (for now) but it wasn’t as bad as last time…

Anyways, I was gunna come back with a bang and do a Jedi RP (with a ‘skill bank’ of sorts that we picked from like a Force Buffet, and a storyline set after the original trilogy starring those genocidal thingies with the snake swords), but that would crash and burn so bad…

Then I thought about doin that “Trading” system RP I was thinking of, but I still don’t have any semblance of a story.

So I decided to go with sumthin small and accomplishable.

[Story]
Set in a olden, Japan-ish type place. Guns have been ‘discovered’, making swords less and less useful, and those who use them are quickly losing favor. Samurai are becoming jobless, their swords and skills quickly fading to the coming age. Assassins are being shooed away, their need gone in this more politically charged world. Mages and ‘Demon Raisers’ are all but obsolete, when much of the same effects can be triggered with a trigger.

In the middle of all this, a one-sworded lost samurai with no past has stumbled upon a baby he views as the future. With no other purpose in his life, he and a few like him set out to trek the land and return the child, or at least find it a good home, no matter what stands in their path…

There it is, pretty simple. I’ll be the guy who originally found the kid, and we’ll all just be people who have been pushed aside and have decided to deliver the kid home.

Magic is of the Ruroni Kenshin variety, so its like, “Hey, I thought you were floating, but its just wires” kinda thing. So while there’s no conjuration, if they’re good they can make em believe there is.

Demons do exist, although they’re mostly just spirits of sins and the such incorporated into human bodies. So if, say, an Anger Demon confronted you, you’d see a big, muscular guy, and if he was shirtless you’d see the mark of the Demon (shape to be decided) etched into him.

So yah, ragtag group, no past, small kid, who knows what lies ahead.

I’ll post my guy later, but he’s basically a former samurai who found the kid and just felt pulled to return it.

I like the Starwars thing more. You oughtta do that. I'm gonna think about going into this RP.

And then have people wanting to be Jabba the Jedi and you Force Light-ening everything...I'll pass, you I give full permission to though.

Hey, that was only Jad, and I didn't think it was too bad of an idea, just weird. And the force lightning was uber-cool.

I never said it was a Kenshin ripoff, but I saw an episode where two guys claimed to use 'paralyzing' magic that turned out to be wires.

And its hard to get the spelling wrong when I wrote it...
