Act II
|
|
For a little while, I was hoping this was Onion Kid Theater.
FFIII Theater is still pretty cool, though. |
Didn't even realise this was spoofed off of FFIII intill you posted your second scene. It's looking good so far.

Next scene might come on Sunday, most likely Monday. The main factors of this is whether or not I can figure out how to get past some of the graphical nuances i.e. better font, less choppy speech bubbles and particularly why the hell my arbitrary rotation tool follows arbitrary laws of rotation (meaning, in the first scene, the slanted sprites look pretty, but when I tried it on the second scene, it came out pixelated, so they had to be kept normal).
I plan for updates to be Wednesday, Friday and then Sunday/Monday, whichever is most convenient for me at the time. |
For the whole rotation thing, check what settings it has for the whole move/rotate/resize dealio. When I last used PDN I'm pretty sure it has a smooth/crisp setting or something like that.

I have GIMP 2.6. Normally, all I have to do is make sure the Interpolation dropbox has the 'none' option selected. However, when I made the last scene, and as of five minutes ago, this option no longer works.
Any other GIMP users out there who might know how to fix this? In any case, I don't plan to use the arbitrary rotation for the next scene or two, so I am sure I'll find a solution by then. My main focus is the speech bubbles at the moment. |

I did kinda wonder why the wall-paintings were following their movements.

Scene 004: I Cast Microwave On The Cat!
