Well, Nintendo gave a fairly disappointing keynote again this year. Better then last years, at least.

Anyway, I have reservations about the new Metroid. For one thing, Retro Studios did a perfect job with the Prime games, also because didn't Team Ninja lose it's good people? Looking at that trailer, it looks like it's stumbling backwards from the previous Metroid games. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but I'm not holding any high hopes.

It seems that there will be more announcements incoming during Miyamoto's keynotes. Sin and Punishment 2 has a huge presence on the demo booths.

I didn't check those links lol. For once! I did, are you talking about the friend request? I accepted that.

Luckily I work in IT so i've been able to leave the feeds up both days! And there hasn't been to many problems. I'm not sure if the feed will still be available but the MS one is so i'm sure it will be

Now, that's clearly Isaac at the front, and it looks like Mia behind him, but the person who I originally thought was Garret seems to be using a lightning attack. Good news! I guess that means it isn't a remake if there's a new character!

If this is official artwork, then I think we're looking at the offspring of Isaac and Garet, and some new Mercury adept. At first I thought it could be Mia's daughter, but all of them having children is too convenient.

I don't have a problem against Final Fantasy Online, I'm just disappointed that from what was shown there's nothing to differentiate the title from XI. Each FF, regardless of your opinion of it, has a je ne sais quoi that makes it seem unique in comparison to the others.

I guess it is the art style that's not doing it for me.

And Square Enix's conference is coming tomorrow morning at 11 AM PST. My guess: Kingdom Hearts III for Wii. Just a feeling I have.

Yes, but that's not going to satisfy a lot of people and they're gonna be wanting a new Wii Zelda. I'm sure Nintendo knows this, and I wouldn't be surprised if they announced such a Zelda for next Summer/Fall.

On the subject of Kingdom Hearts wIII: Rockin' a keyblade with a Wii-mote, especially with Motion+, could be rad.

Don't expect any news on DQIX until very near the launch date (whenever that is). Dragon Quest IV and Dragon Quest V bombed hard in North America (like 20k copies DQV in February).
