Can we do this?

Can we make a webpage to 8-bit Theater (you know, like a shrine or something) if we say it's Brian's comic and Squaresoft's characters??

I... Don't see why you need to.... Perhaps you can explain your idea a bit more?

Yuki 04-26-2004 01:27 PM

Can't answer the question, but you mean like with fan art/fic/comic/flash/misc.?

Otaku Son 04-26-2004 02:05 PM

Seems like you mean a fan site. Well, here's the way I see it: Why not? 8BT is, in its own respects, a fan site of Squaresoft. Most sprite comics are fansites(some sprite comics use the sprites to bash their origins) of their origin. So, having a fan site of a fan site shouldn't be a problem. 'Sides, I see it all the time.

You're always given the option to make a fansight if you really want to, if that's what you meant. Though if you're asking for help from forumites... Well, that's up to them. I don't know if it would get a huge response, but there are lots of creative and artistic people around here that may be willing to help. Check the arts and crafts section.

Naw, we ain't no fan site. We (and by we I mean he) just take some sprites from a company and make funny comics with them. And they can't do anything about it!

And I don't see why we need to, most fan sites just warship games like FF11, and Crystal Chronicles.

Now that I think about it isn't 8-bit more like DnD then FF. You know once per day spells, night and day, actually seeing a creature before a random encounter starts. It all seems more like DnD, in game play atleast.

Then again I never played DnD or FF1

stimpo 04-26-2004 04:19 PM

it is far, far more like DnD

Martyr 04-26-2004 04:44 PM

Well, uh, that's my next DnD campaign. I can't believe I didn't think of it sooner...
