Needlegun, and yeah, it's pretty great if you have a handle on the physics involved. Not terribly powerful, but the Blutsauger makes up for it with a health regen factor that can be pretty handy, and if you know how to lead properly with it you can often take down some of the squishier classes like snipers and spies.
Plus, taking advantage of the arcing physics can be handy in larger areas with no ceiling and lots of cover can be fun. You can pretty much just fire wildly into the air at the right angle and often at least hit someone, and you get the satisfaction of being informed of such when using the Blut.
Granted, the odds of it actually having any significant effect on the battle are slim, but you might make a couple people on the opposing team slow their approach for a moment while they try to figure out where the shots are coming from.
