Fuck you, New Yorkers
http://www.nydailynews.com/ny_local/..._say_some.html
You know, I could see these complaints if these weren't the people who step over the wino dying of malnutrition in the street, or who complain that mentally ill homeless walk around their block since NY closed down the free facilities and the police jabbed them into their block. A million things fucking wrong with you and your damn city and you bitch about a billboard? HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGH |
To be fair, you'd be hearing the same complaints if they'd put the billboard anywhere in the country, likely moreso in most parts. I don't really see the point in looking down on some people in New York for something that people in any place in the United States and beyond would react the same way to.
And honestly, can someone from New Jersey really talk smack about any place else in the country? Honestly, man. |
This is "SAVE THE CHILDREN!" crap. What else needs to be said? The shit sells in the media.
Frankly, the only issue I have with it is that she's not wearing some sort of sports bra or something. Aside from that, sex sells, too. This is really not much to get worked up about. Heck, in London, people wouldn't give it a second thought. They sell stuff with people wearing no clothes at all, for cryin' out loud. Americans need to chill a bit. |
I'm honestly not sure whether newspapers just haul out this exact same article every six months and rewrite it or if they actually shit out an entire new version of it every time.
Well done NY Daily News writer Sarah A. Armaghan, I'm sure the rich corporate fucks who own your soul are ever so pleased. |

And we knife our homeless, we're humane like that. |

Specifically driving skills. Never driving through NY state again, it's like Death Race. If I ever want to go back to Canada I'm going through the fucking Dakotas. Also yeah, the billboard was bound to draw this attention. It was meant to be "controversial". Just look at how many network news programs are talking about jeans today. [/sidenote] You should also come over and see parts of NJ that aren't the damn Turnpike. |

"What's wrong with being sexy?" Also yeah, same thing would happen in any other state, only worse. |

Also, if you need to take out some extra aggression on New York, I recommend Prototype. |
