A third admin?
 

I hope I don't disclose anything the disclosing of which is forbidden... anyway, the other day I aimlessly scrolled through the members list and noticed this profile.

So... who is this? Some kind of test account (since he never posted) maybe? Someone who is automatically made admin on fuitad.net hosted sites (where I understand this is hosted), but doesn't bother with 8BT really? Fuitad's brother who was chained in the basement for decades?

I mean, it's no big deal, I'm just a nosy bastard :D.

I think it's a hack-prevention system. Which means, say someone hacks Pierre's and Brian's accounts and demotes them from admin. level. Well, the only one who can make an admin. an admin. is another admin., not the mods. So, that account is probably there in case said hacker manages to get in. If that's such, then, yes, you disclosed the forbidden that should not have been disclosed.

1. The account is rather obvious, just go to Forum Leaders. I've known about it for a while, I just never cared.

2. What if said hacker hacks this supposed "Back-Up" Admin, then demotes the other two? Not such a good idea then.

Thus, the idea of it being a test account gets my vote.

If I can come across it by chance, it's gotta be pretty darn obvious :D. Plus, the mods would likely know about such a thing, and thus shiney would have altered my post accordingly or deleted it.

I have to probably agree some sort of hacker....
and shiney, I take offense to that, cause i'm pure blood Canadain.

also in a related topic what is google spider? it has no profile and yet you find it a lot in the who's online section. Is it, as the name sugjests, a spy (spy=spi?) sent by google? do the mods know about this and are ok with it.

Google spiders are how Google trails the web and brings up (semi)relevant websites for you to peruse. They're not 'spies'...

What do you mean you see it a lot? I've never seen this Google Spider in the "Who's Online?" section.
