Metal Slug for XBox
 

Now, for all you Metal Slug fans (All 10 of you), time to rejoice. Metal Slug 3 is coming out for XBox. Due to the lack of arcades in my area, I have been starving for this game for years, Metal Slug being one of the best 2D Side Scrolling shooter ever. You can also play with others over XBox live.

Unfortunatly, it seems like all there will be in Metal Slug 3... This seems to be a bit small for what an XBox could pull off for old games like Metal Slug (They could have fit all of the Metal Slugs in one game).

Metal Slug 3 for the 'Box? That's gonna rule. Do you know if it's going to be just a port, or will it have stuff like 4-Player co-op (instead of 2), X-Box Live compatability, or anything else?

Perhaps they'll have the originals as downloads with the game. Wouldn't that work?

Two player co-op I think is it, though I'm not really sure. All I've seen on the game is a small article in my GamePro I just got. Thought it says there is an all-new play mode exclusive to the Xbox version...

O man, metal slug is awesome! I'm gonna force my friend to get that, even if I have to pry his wallet off of him with a crowbar.

It's going to have online co-op. Online co-op. Metal Slug 3 is my favorite game, especially on cooperative mode, and I freaked out when I heard it was coming to XBox. It comes out May 25th! Veinticinco de Mayo!

Online co-op sounds fun...except for the fact that I don't have X-Box Live (or high-speed internet, for that matter). I'll have to get it, then.

Any word on the price? (the normal $49.99? $39.99?)

I believe I read recently that Metal Slug 4+5 are going to be released next year on the PS2 in a single package sometime next year, along with another KOF bundle that contains '02 and '03.
