Anyway, it is insanely hard, you must provide evidence and not just rely on rolls, and it only works in very specific scenarios. BUT, I did find one story where it was done. The clone was subsequently executed by Friend Computer from another sector I believe... (Friend Computer is actually a massive networks of supercomputers all over the city, but each part is partially isolated from the others, even though they all think alike, so if one overloads, the ohters easily take the load until the first gets back online.)

Can it be done? Yes.

By us? No.

It takes super skilled hackers a loooong time to hack Friend Computer. This has in part lead to it's mental instability as it constantly tries to counter these lapses in judgement caused by hacking, but a skilled hacker can theoretically hack Friend Computer long enough to make it change it's decision making process for a while, or long enough to get an ally out of trouble/get special permition/whatever.

But it is up to the GM if he will even allow NPCs to hack Friend Computer, because it is semi-rare and hard to do.

Dunno. Much of the background will purely be up to DR. I am only basing this off the limited knowledge I've gathered in the past 72 hours I've known about Paranoia. DR can change things as he wishes, and make everything I say totally irrelevent if he wanted to. So until he sends us Secret Society orders, I don't know what the societies are up to...

No. Never ever, EVER is that possible. Friend Computer is meant to do three things. Protect the people from threats, Kill every Commie, Traitor, and Mutant that might be a threat, do everything in it's power to keep the city together and stay in power. Anything that opposes Friend Computer is a threat. Anything that disagress with Friend Computer is a threat. Anything that does not pay proper respect to Friend Computer and it's materials are a threat. Basically, you step one hair out of line from what Friend Computer wants, and you die.

First, called FC compey is probably treason.
Secondly, they almost certainly aren't, but it thinks they are.
