Google to challenge Microsoft in OS Field

Ya know, I may be a fan of Google for what they're doing. But I have to question their need for an operating system. Is it possible that they're taking on too many projects and not necessarily all of them will be able to function as they ask?

Google domination?

Is it even possible?

They were already spurned by Facebook, and I doubt highly that the Big M will take this lying down. Truly seems to be an epic battle beginning for the future of the world. Place your bets.

Meh.

I'm sure MS is just as worried about this as they are about Mac OS's

edit: as in, Gates can't see this annoucement through the piles of money and sacrifices blocking his monitor

Bill Gates retired from being the CEO of Microsoft. They only ever use him as an icon now because he started the company and people know him as the person who started the company. So he's only making money as a shareholder/whenever they put him into an ad.

Just one more rung on the ladder for Google's world domination.

I wonder if they have a D20 or something that they use to determine what they're gonna go after next.

Considering how Google Chrome is, I don't think we have anything to worry about.

Following hot on the heels of the tearaway success of Google's Chrome web browser comes wait, what?

Not only that, the newest version Ubuntu kicks all ass. Once that gets popular, MS will go further down the shitter, and people will say "Google did what?"

Here's an interesting quote.

Seriously, how many people are going to run an OS that's completely incapable of running games, much less all the software they already have?

Yeah, this is the year Linux is gonna take the world by storm.

No, really!

Sarcasm senses... tingling...

More seriously, unless Google can manage to make it incredibly well supported by pretty much all software, I don't think it's going to do that well.
