Ever since i was little i have this... fascination with giant Robots. Giant, City-Hovering, improbable and impractical machines with huge guns and, like, 7000 missiles.

And when things go to space and someone says "They fight better because they are powered by the power of love and friendship (Or song thank you macross...) i just can't think of it as corny!

Even my very first anime -ever- was a Giant Robot anime. Special Armored Battalion Dorvack! (which, BTW, together with Omega Boost and Macross make for the 3 movies i would love to see, regardless on how they could suck.)

Man, I wish I had realized my love of giant robots sooner. I''d be a much happier engineer than psychologist. I love the smell of engine grease and oil. I dreamed of making a robot army to destroy the crappy town I grew up in since elementary school. I look like an anime engineer with my hair pulled back. It all fits.

Learning engineering is way up there in my "some day" goals now 'a days now that cartoons have made me more aware of my love for the possible result of learning how to make machines.

Giant Robots are awesome because just one can effectively end the world.

Everyone fears the day someone makes a working replica of Megas XLR or Gurren Lagann. You don't even need skill to fly those, just be a gamer/GAR/total disregard of physics.

Holy shit. I had a toy of that middle one when I was a kid. I remember it more as pieces, though, as I must've been incredibly young (six, maybe seven) and its tank tread feet broke off from obsessive transforming of a thing that was undoubtedly not designed for a child of that age.

Wow, I probably haven't even thought about that toy in more years than many of you have been alive.

Someone didn't learn anything from Dai-Guard. For every car you crush, there's a mountain of paperwork and hours of phone calls and court dates for someone.

My solution to that is anyone who trys to charge me gets stepped on. Eventually they'll stop or try to force me to stop, And I'll take my giant mech over the military any day cause, it's a giant mech and according to all anime giant mech > anything military has.

the way I see it, with the amount of Missiles I fire at least one of them will hit.

And one missile is all I need.

Not against another Giant Robot, you'll probably need at least a 10-25% success rate.

I prefer Coop's hand to hand fighting style the best though.
