How people are killed in a war is pretty important if you're counting murders. But since we don't know what the author counts as homicide I guess it doesn't matter. The author in question was criminologist Manuel Eisner by the way.
As for the reasons why we haven't had any nuclear wars, where are you getting that it has "nothing" to do with people being nice? |
Almost all deaths that are caused by the war, direct or indirect. Such as Solider deaths, Civilian death due to Battles, Bombings, Camps or Starvation and even Diseases are attributed to the total Killed for a War. They ones killed in camps, battles or bombings aren't used in homicide numbers.

I only believe in those of you whom I've met. (So, Mauve, Phil, and Mike.) Everyone else is probably not real.
Oh, that's not what you meant? Okay, well then... most of y'all are pretty swell. |
NPFers actually meet??!! In person?! Is that healthy? Could the world even handle such a gathering of like-minded loonies??

... well, the owner of that one bar in Berlin might disagree, when I met him first time, as I'm sure cleaning up the toilets couldn't have been much fun, but yeah! Besides, it wasn't really my fault. Why cover up only three of the four urinoirs when ALL of them are broken? |

And the world still is in one piece? I'm impressed. I thought it would have imploded when NPF's meet each other.

Well then, I think you did a good job then leaving toronto in shambles! They deserved it.

Small gatherings are fine. They just butterfly-effect their way into thunderstorms and ocean tornadoes. But if there was ever to be a convention or a large gathering of any kind... may god help everyone else
