The best video game peripheral patent I've ever seen

This is how we are going to play the next Zelda.

Oh... my God.

I hope they are extra careful about naming this thing...

Regulus Tera 08-10-2009 10:52 PM

They see Wii Ridin', they hatin...

>_>

Seriously, why don't they just create a USB adapter for the rocking horse I had when I was three? Wait...Mario Kart?

It's pretty bad when the Wii has to have a new peripheral to allow you to sit down. Every other system allows you to do that naturally.

Magus 08-10-2009 11:35 PM

I always hated those dumb gimmicky arcade games that would have you sit on a motorcycle to control a motorcycle onscreen and so forth.

BUT NOW THAT NINTENDO IS DOING IT IT'S TOTALLY AWESOME!

Mirai Gen 08-10-2009 11:54 PM

I'd like a peripheral that makes their console not suck; that'd be really nice.

Magus 08-11-2009 12:03 AM

Motion + is apparently getting good reviews but I'd wait until there was a full game built around it before I gave my final judgment.

Bells 08-11-2009 12:26 AM

That would be Red Steel 2. And the only game that has shown to actually improve with Motionplus is Tiger Woods, which i think it's a impressive statement, since i've played the crap out of Tiger Woods and i find the controls to be awesome even without Motion +.

But you put "Wii Riding" and the vitality sensor... and now i'm like eeeeh...
