The life cycle of a Nuklearpower Forums thread.

We can lead these threads into a more productive lifestyle if we just introduce some good 'ol fashioned soup into the mix!

Look, i know it's though and all... but we had a meeting. Everyone was there, big party, lot's of Starcraft lan games going on. Some wii Bowling, then there was Drunken Boom Blox and a big Street Fighter / Blaz Blue hot seat tournament... it was really great.... but i digress.

Case in point, in a 128/37 decision we voted and we just don't like you.

The reasons vary, some say you remind them of Chuck Norris jokes. Others just say that Druids suck, ergo, so do you...

We all went through your files (BTW, we have your files...) and i don't want to point any names here. But you seem to enjoy Harper's Island, Ninja Scroll and Without a Trace... i don't know if you're getting my drift here, but... yeah.

Also, you suggested ET: The game: The movie... which is like a game about a movie that already had a game that was about the movie, and once again... mmmyah..

Also, the whole "using socks in the bathroom" and grapefruit puddim pop is just a tad overkill, y'know?

Now, nobody is sending you to the HR department yet, you know... your name wasn't even on the backup list for the huge awesome party we had to talk about you, y'know...?

Other than that, don't worry about it, the threads you posted were slowing down. And it's not like you added another level to the conversation anyway... some topics just don't stay afloat.

Wait, there was a party!? Why wasn't I invited? :(

Bells was the one who was doing the inviting, so if you weren't invited look for him

Aerozord 08-14-2009 08:47 PM

hmm I'm starting to suspect there was no party

Magic_Marker 08-14-2009 08:50 PM

My invitation got lost in the mail

That's what the guys told me.

krogothwolf 08-14-2009 09:14 PM

It could also have all been a figment of Bells imagination and some of us were just playing with him to keep him confused

Perhaps they just need proper healthcare. I propose a system wherein every created thread must have a post by every single member of the forums in an effort to keep it alive. This form of threadcare would require contributions from everyone, and as the thread nears death, it would go before a panel that would decide whether it would be worth keeping it alive any longer.

If not, the thread would be given painkillers.

Technically, I don't think anyone is so much a thread killer as it is that the most prolific posters have already said their piece and moved on after it was either ignored or settled. I have my name of a fair share of dead topics simply because I'm such a prolific poster and probably don't realize when there's nothing left that anyone wants to discuss.

But as for actually saying something so epic that it simply ends the thread, yeah, no. Things simply don't end that way around here and tend to just trail off.

way to ruin it blue by giving a logical answer
