Let's Play (But not on NPF)

Do any of you keep up with let's plays other than the ones on NPF?

I've been watching the Persona 4 Endurance Run on Giant Bomb. They are about 130 episodes into the game. I'm at the thirtieth. It's pretty great. So far my favorite part of their commentary was, "Kill the kid and torch the house, Charlie. We gotta get outta town."

Anyone else watch that one?

Want to recommend others?

Necroscope86's Resident Evil runs are great, with 2 probably being the best of the bunch and Code Veronica being the worst.

I really just love watching people play scary games. Its great.

Cloud's IWBTG never ceases to make me giggle, and Concordat's Star Fox 64 run has great music selection and text commentary. I originally was hesitant on the text commentary but it turned out much funnier than I had imagined.

I assume everyone knows about this but just to be sure.

I can wholeheartedly recommend ProtonJon playing a Kaizo Mario World bonus level without knowing it. If it's not in the Kaizo section in the archive, search for ProtonJonSA on youtube. Other than that:

The legendary story of the Dwarf Fortress Boatmurdered

Flashback, by Yahtzee of Zero Punctuation fame

GTA: San Andreas; this one's pretty cool because the author manages to write an engaging story around the screenshots that even ties in all the random side missions

Metal Gear Solid 2

I'm in the middle of reading this Let's Play of the .hack series. It's currently in progress. I was interested in the idea of the game, but I heard it was hampered by a bunch of stupid issues. Hurray for this guy, now I don't need to play it!

On the same forum is this OUTSTANDING Let's Play/Rewrite of FF8, performed with screenshots, excellent writing and some photoshop/hacking from what I understand. It's on a temporary hiatus but it was updating once a day for the longest time. I definitely recommend it to anyone, especially people who were disappointed in FF8's disappointing story and plot twists.

I think it's time to introduce you guys to a little somebody called Sir Ron Lionheart. Ohwhatthe?! Haha, fan-tastic.

Persona's 4 Endurance run as mentioned in the first post is definitely worth a watch. Not only is it hilarious but it's also updated pretty much every day.

Apart from that, I still re-read this Final Fantasy VIII Let's Play and it still makes me giggle. (Kudos to Synk for linking me to it)

It gets even better when they decide to give more characters voice overs, Jeff as Dojima is still my favourite though. The only thing I would say drags the Let's Play a bit is the floor after floor of dungeon crawling. I forgive them for this as it's necessary and I love watching them do the boss battles at the end of them.

That guy has this weird uncanny valley aspect to his LPs. It starts amusing, then goes down, hits rock bottom, but gets hilarious. The longer you watch the number your brain gets so he gets funnier and funnier.

Yeah, that FFVIII one is great. I read it some time ago and it made me appreciate just how batshit that plot was.

You know how people talk about TVtropes and Cracked? I just don't feel it. I can read a [number] [noun] that [verb] [predicate] article and not go ahead and read a bazillion more. I go to TVtropes and read maybe 5 pages before I'm done.

But I know the feeling. It's how I feel about Persona 4: Endurance Run.
I'd be watching P4E right now if I wasn't posting from a pentium 3.
