Quotables
 

Well, I've noticed that some people have quotes from other members in their signatures(although "highonpawns" has the "t" and "k" assbacks in my name for his signature) so I was thinking, what quotes does everyone here find worth remembering or quoting, and why? I'm always fond of this one:

"... ... ..."

Because you can't really tell what a person is thinking when they say that. It's a total mystery.

An there's also that one quote of Cyan's from FFVI, the one where you find him in the mountain in the World of Chaos.(I have it written down somewhere, and I'll post it later)

I like that one because back when I was in tenth grade, I could really connect that quote to what my life was like at the time. And for some reason, it's just stuck to me.

I was just looking back into my journal and came across a good quote.

"Stupid people make stupid choices and then die. By that standard, we should be living forever. Unless, of course, we also make mostly stupid decisions. I guess we'll see at our funerals."

This one time, i found a tiny pocket book that i was gonna write down funny quotes in stuffed away in a desk drawer. so i opened it up to see what all i had written down, and all that i had recorded was "All I want to do is poop and go to bed."

You win! Best. Quote. Ever.

I just made that up, but since I said it, it counts as aquote right?

Well, it counts as MasterOfMagic's quote, not yours. But, also, I'd like to know why you guys have found your quotes you like to be likable.

I like mine because it has a sense of irony. If it didn't have the irony, it'd just be, "Stupid people make stupid choices and then they die." That's not quite as effective as the original quote.

what did i do with that pice of paper, hang on....(three minutes later) here we go. My friends and i were watching Shaolin Soccer and were cracking up at the poorly translated subtitles, and my freind said the following:

"It makes me excited to be man." I think its fucking hillarious.

My comments on Quantum theory are in someone's signature. I was reading Dilbert and the Quantum Weirdness thread at the same time, so I intergrated the two. It involved wedgies and the Schrodinger's Cat Thought Experiment. I thought it was hilarious at the time, and still look back on it with chagrin. My best actual quote was:

Me: "I'm trying to! Shut up already!"
