I like the look of the 2D jobs.

Suda is a sexy man.

This will be the best Wii game ever.

Dudes i don't doubt this game will be great and all, the game footage does seems very interesting to me... but everything else in that video that isn't game footage?...

...t'hell is that? Dude in toilet explaining commands and a... weird seems a bit of a understatement here but... weird voice over for Suda?

Kim 09-04-2009 01:40 AM

Weird? I think you mean manly.

Man, like 47% of the first game is spent sitting on the toilet.

And if you were to have your voice translated and overdubbed to another language, isn't that precisely the voice you'd want?

...Wait, it's named like every early DS game*, but it's for Wii? Huh?

* = Advance Wars: Dual Strike and Castlevania Dawn of Souls are good examples.

Suda 51 doesn't stick the mold, boy. He breaks it.

The battery indicator. :D

The game looks a lot prettier. Not that it didn't look nifty before, it's just better now.

No. 6 -- The Classic Controller is in

Grasshopper's tradeoff for leaving out MotionPlus support is that they've included a Classic Controller option. Given that No More Heroes 2's minigames are presented like classic 2D games, this makes a lot of sense, but you'll be able to play the whole game on the SNES-style pad -- not just the minigames.

As it turns out, Grasshopper's motivation for this had less to do with the mingames and more to do with the popularity of Capcom's Monster Hunter Tri, which many people in Japan play using the Classic Controller (and was even packaged at the same time as the Classic Controller Pro). According to Suda, Grasshopper -- and Japanese publisher Marvelous -- wanted to support this controller to appeal to those players.

He simply answered, "I like Batman; I think he's really cool." GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME.
