Ahh the Speed Force. Seriously DC, what the hell?
|
Okay, maybe just the secondary powers that keep him from killing himself. And we do not talk about the Speed Force and all that stupidity.
Smallville really needs to get back towards its roots. Just focus on how Clark uses his powers and how that screws with his life. No French/Chinese witches, secret organizations, or, ugh, bio-super power suits. If they had it on for Lana that bad, they could have come up with another reason to power her up. I cheered when Lex (or Zod/whatever that was) stabbed her. |
I highly doubt Lex is gone for good. Without him there is no Superman.

I just think that they should introduce something that at least sounds good on paper.
And I'm okay with robots as long as they don't screw up Metallo by making him into a human fused with Kryptonian technological upgrades. He's a cyborg, like Cyborg, its to simple to screw up so it'll be great to see how they do it. |
Which is apparently an all-white cast? Nah I'm jerking your chain, you're a great sport and probably not racist at all!
Yes Lana as a witch = Stupid. Any secret organizations, mystic or otherwise (other than Intergang or Government black-ops) are equally bad ideas. And actually Robots and mechs? Couldn've used a bit more of that on Smallville. |
The only reason that they're mostly white is because actors of other races have much more self respect than the entire cast of Smallville. Welling was in Cheaper by the Dozen, Durance was in an Uwe Boll movie, and Witwer had a bit role in gamer and was the voice and face of Vader's Apprentice. No self respect... well, Witwer got a cool job at least once.
I think Live Wire has the potential for a cool interpretation. |

So, what's the difference here, other than the word Kryptonian? Heck, if you take kryptonian to mean 'with kryptonite' instead of 'from krypton' I'm seeing even less of one. |
I think you mean "Robot", Gunslinger. Cyborgs are human/robots.
|
I actually thought Metallo was a cyborg, in the loosest sense. Wasn't he human at one point and shoved into a robot body?
Or am I thinking of some other superman villain? Though, I do admit, I get a little annoyed at how it's increasingly common to call cyborgs robots and vice versa, but I don't think Guns was making that mistake, as he compared him to Cyborg, who is most definitely a human/machine hybrid. |
