Basically if there's pieces of him in there that he grew himself then he's the former, if he comes with the bumper-to-bumper factory warranty, the latter.

Yeah, nope, see, an android is a full robot built to look/act like a human.

A (non-android) robot is like the ford assembly line robots.

A cyborg is a combination of human and robot parts.

As that metallo has a human brain, he, technically, falls under cyborg. I guess you could make an argument that he's SO MUCH robot now that he'd fall more toward android, but ehhhhhhhh. Human parts = cyborg so far as I'm concerned.

Whatever, the important part is Metallo has a chunk of Kryptonite for a power source and is awesome.

From the pictures I have seen, they're going with the cyborg powered by Kryptonite. There's no need to argue over semantics.

I watch Legend of the Seeker so I certainly can't call you out on liking Supernatural...well maybe I can, seriously, you watch Supernatural? Even I don't watch that, and I watch Legend of the Seeker! :D

Tons of, uh, normal people watch Supernatural and at the very least we're on the same level as Legend of the Seeker!

Back to Smallville, is there any chance that the writers are gonna be able to pull this out of the rubbage bin?

Supernatural is awesome. It might just be that they used 'Don't fear the reaper' in an episodes, or their use of 'Renegade' by Styx in another but really if I had to put it down to anything it'd be that the storyline isn't stupid and doesn't make me cringe. The characters are very angsty though.

I stopped watching Smallville though because, while the main character is as angsty, the storylines were stupid and made me cringe.

Man, remember when Superman fought Metallo in that old Lois and Clark TV show?

Superman eventually figured out that while getting close to Metallo horribly rapes him, Metallo couldn't jump. So he hovered out of reach and used his heat vision.

The creators of Metallo's body regretted not installing super leaping ability.
