New News in BBCode
So resulting from our long, long, looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong (long) discussion about spoiler tags we have some new forum features.
1. The standard [spoiler] tag and its conveniently shortened cousin [ss] have been adjusted so that in addition to a click revealing the spoiler, a second click re-hides the spoilertagged text. Try it yourself! wordswordswords 2. We have the new [swap] tag which can be used for large spoilers or oversized images or passive aggression or whatever use you feel you have for it. To use it just type [swap=wordswordswords]different words![/swap] and it will display as follows: wordswordswords Clicking the blue-backed text will... follow this closely now... swap the text following the equal sign with the text between the tags. A second click will re-swap the text. 3. All on-page instances of either tag can be automatically cleared or re-applied by clicking the "Click here to hide"/"Click here to unhide" line at the top of the thread. http://i606.photobucket.com/albums/t...nd/allhide.jpg The first click will reveal all hidden text on the page, and your second click will auto-rehide all revealed text. ...Not text that's hidden by good ol' [color=#111111], though. You're on your own with that one. We hope these new features will make for a more enjoyable and productive foruming experience for you, the NPF community. |

Go easy on the nesting when you're using this in the field, okay guys?
|
because I DO read all of it to make sure shit isn't snuck in
I'm pretty sure that if you guys start nesting shit with this new tag that I will hate you all even more.
|
Thank you everyone who took my efforts and immediately jumped on their one shittiest and most ridiculous application.
You guys never let me down. |
On the bright side, you can't swap an image with another image.
So there's a hassle you won't have to put up with in the future. |
