What will John Allison's next anime be about?
 

As many of you will know noted mangaka (lit: transexual prostitute) John Allison recently concluded his award-winning series Baka no Scaru: Pretty Pretty Goround Show! and is planning very soon to launch an all-new project featuring fan-favorite Moe (lit: ugly) girl Sherry Winterth as she sets off for the bright lights and excitement of Neo SuperTokyo! So I thought it would be fun to have a thread about what you guys think Allison-sama might have in store for us!

I want to see a Scary-Go-Round vs Overcompensating crossover. Ideally, the magnanimous JeffRow will fight The Englishman to the death at some point.

Fifthfiend said "Secret agents" at one point and now fuck you all that had better goddamn happen. Shelly needs to be introduced to a (or the) SAS, like, now.

I just read at Allison's blog that it won't actually be about Shelley's adventures at the Ministry of History and will instead be about something that isn't that and :( :( :( :( :(

Yeah, my thoughts exactly.

On the bright side SECRET AGENTS

Actually I just remembered that based on history the new comic will be about whoever that isn't Shelley for like six not-Shelley months and then basically be all about her again so :) :) :) :) :)

Huh.

I'll be honest, I liked Scary-Go-Round best when it didn't focus on Shelley. I didn't dislike her or Amy, but there's really only so many jokes you can make that boil down to "Shelley is flaky, Amy is spoiled and wild." So I can sort of see why Allison wants to start fresh.

Actually, Amy grew on me because she, Ryan, and I guess Esther are the characters who've had the most development from their first appearances.

Look at that, it's a timeskip and a new Scary Go Round arc.

Makes you wonder if he just decided he was going to nix Shelly and hang some new wallpaper and call it a new comic.
