Ok, here is what im going to do. As this thread is 91 (my post #) long, I will have to make a new thread. However, I want one reply from everyone answering these questions if you please (reply on this thread until the mods close it... unless they will be nice enough to not close it till after this)

1. How do you want to do this? Post on a set day (i.e. Saturday/Sunday) or post whenever possible?

2. How big do you think a party should be? (Dont mind me, I will determine this on my own. I just want people's opinions)

3. How long do you think we should do this for? A few levels, long time, medium, what?

4. Rolling will be done by you for a little while. However, if I feel you arent being honest with your rolls I will take this priv away from you. My question is this, how many of you do not have a set of dice and want me to do their rolling?

please answer in a timely fashion. Im currently working on a list of house rules to be used in addition to the normal 3.0 rules.

1. I think we should set a day

2. I have no preference for group size.

3. Atleast good quest.

4. I though i would use my calculator's random program. I was just going to set it to randomly select any # between 1 and 6, 20, ect...

LilWhiteMage 12-01-2003 01:53 PM

1. I think it might be easier for us to have a set couple of days when we do this. That's just my personal opinion though >_>

2. Seeing as how I've never played before, I wouldn't know the exact size of an ideal party. o_o

3. I think we should play for as long as we can.

4. Even if I had the dice, I wouldn't feel right (because really... how would you know I wasn't lying?... not that I would.. but still.) So my answer is... please roll dice for me ^^;

1. Every day and when you can. I hate comics for not uśing this method and only arriving once in a week.
2. 3 people. My own experience of half a year, but in a Online RP I rally dont know

3. FOREVER

4. Roll mine also.

Tempest Stormwraith 12-01-2003 02:23 PM

1. A set day would be a good idea, sundays work best for me
2. a party shouldnt be much bigger than 4 people,
3. Till we get tired of playing, so lets say long term for now.
4> i have my own sets of dice.

also beacause im new to d&d i will need promting as to how many dice to roll, and if possible it would be nice if for the first battle peeps could explain why they are rolling what so i can pick it up

1. Weekends is good for me.

2. The party should have 4 characters minumum and 8 maximum (I know that's pushing it a bit, but we have a lot of people playing this.

3. We should continue for as long as it is interesting.

4. I have sufficient dice, I'll roll my stuff.

Alright, based upon the info here is what Im going to do:

1. Weekends
2. 4-8
3. Minimum of one good quest, maybe more.
4. You roll (except where stated). I will determine if I think you are lying to me about your rolls, I will do all the rolling. So dont lie! :D Ill post the information later (im at work, so no access to it) on where/when we/you are starting. Meetings of the characters will be up to you though!!

Minkus 12-01-2003 06:17 PM

Our meetings are up to us now or after you tell us where we're starting?

Hi, by the way. I'll be joining in as a halfling rogue, lvl. 3. I've got some real-life gaming experience, and yes, Never knows about me.

(and yes, this is the first post I've made.)

Neverwhere 12-01-2003 07:19 PM

Well, Im going to combine RP and H&S in this. So yes, your meeting and where you go to get what quest will depend entirely upon your group of players. I have already laid out the foundation for the town and have numerous mini-quests and one overlying major quest that will take a bit to develop (hopefully). So yeah, up to you guys to meet
