http://www.telltalegames.com/community/blogs/id-503

Short version, to celebrate International Talk Like a Pirate Day!, Telltale is giving out the first episode of Tales of Monkey Island, Free. You can also get a deal on purchasing the complete season (only $29.95).

(BUT ONLY ON SEPTEMBER 19th!)

Oh, and here's the 3rd I wonder what happens in Tales of Monkey Island. And I think this one is the best one yet.

- Sorry, if that came off a bit promotional. Just figured others would like to know. And I couldn't think of any other way to say this that wasn't boring.

EDIT: Sorry, its the 19th, not the 18th...

Oooh, awesome! Anyone know if it's 64-bit compatible? I'd love to play this-- Heck, I'd probably buy the whole series, if it would actually work.

Usually I'd just assume that most new games would be compatible, but I lost faith in such ideas after Mirror's Edge fried my PC (no pun intended).

Uhm, I have a Vista computer that is 64-bit. I assume that's what you're talking about, right?

Well I can play the game, so I hope that explains all you need to know.

I wonder if this'll work on ME? (stupid question) Oh well, yet another decent game I'll miss out on.

In all fairness, you should be able to play the first two or three, which is all you'll ever need. :J

Episodes 1, 2, and 3 are 32-bit compatible?

MI 1 and 2 are DOS compatible. :J 3 will probably run on ME if your hardware is good for it, but don't quote me on that.

He's not talking about episodes of the new Monkey Island game. Don't get your hopes up.

He's talking about the original games.

Ah, thanks. I didn't realize I got lost in translation.

Yes, I mean the original games. But they're damn good.

My hardware should be good enough to run.

I already knew he was talking about the older games. Anything newer then 1999 in terms of graphics (you know, anything great then Dreamcast level graphics) will not work very well on this system.
