The latest comic isn't showing up!
 

That seems to happen a fair bit for a number of people recently, so let's have a stickied thread to collect troubleshooting methods and to link to whenever it comes up in the comic discussion threads.

- Clear your browser cache. That's it, it should work now.

- Copy the previous episode's image URL (example: http://www.nuklearpower.com/comics/8...ter/090926.png). The filename is a date in year-month-day format, just change it to the current date and you should get the episode.

- Search for the comic's number in the search bar on the left.

Example:
A search for 1177 was working for Viridis despite not being able to find it anywhere else on the site.

There are more ways to do this, post yours here and I'll compile them into the first post.

Absolutely. In fact if you know the image url you can do it.

I guess he has a good reason for not doing it, though, so let's not. But if you have the image url, do feel free to post it* when people ask why they can't see the latest comic!

I'd assumed it was for more page impressions, for the ads.

Surely there are some things that don't need to be explicitly spelled out for everyone?

this is already probably pretty common knoladge, but you can right click the image and select properties and it will show the image URL... not that it's any help to the people that can't view the latest comic, but the people who can can post the URL easy enough.

This is great! This is exactly why I joined this forum, I was trying to archive this comic so I can read it on my Droid and I got to 945...

Now, not only do the pics not come up but none of the pics on the site come up at all. None of the pics on the calendars for the dates, the latest comic, nothing.

In case anyone doe not know how to clear their cache...

However, just clearing my browser cache did not work. Are there any other things I can do?

EDIT:
For some reason my browser was set to Block Images from this site. I have no idea how or why, but I just unchecked it and everything is working again.

Hmm. Unsticking, because it's not much of a concern anymore with only one or two pages still to come. If the problem pops up with one of those we can give solutions in the discussion thread. Plus I want to make a new sticky thread and we have enough of them as it is.
