Reboot: Rebooted-ed-ed-ed...

Nothing much but a teaser trailer for the new Reboot, and not much of one at that. Just a incoming game cube & a little bit of the cityscape. Didn't care for the new Warning: Incoming Game voice.

Promising, even if they don't show much. They just need Hexadecimal. I have a friend who I think would watch it even if the show was renamed Hexadecimal does strange things and talks into a camera for 22 minutes.

I don't suppose anyone has any idea of whether it will continue the story or start anew?

Most likely start fresh. There seems to be some hang-up on the original licensing so if they stuck with it then nobody would know what's going on because they can't release DVD's of it or something.

It might not continue the story. I remember when beyblade brought back earlier this year after suspending it for several years, They started the thing over with a new story to please a new audience. Considering that this, like beyblade, was a kids show, and that like beyblade, this show hasn't aired in over 4 years (for reboot Its been about 9 - 10 years since it was canned). They are likely starting it over from starch with a new story and maybe a new cast.

I got all excited and giddy for this as soon as I saw it even thought they didn't give much to go by. I like me some new reboot. I wouldn't mind a restart. They never really finished the original series and left it short one movie. So unless everyone remembers those 2 movies they would be wondering what was going on.

If Megabyte is in this, I don't think I could accept him without Tony Jay's voice. Well, if they were to get David Kaye to voice, him, he might be passable.

I never worked out this series. Why does the user always play different games especially because he always loses and so much never finish everything. And he always loses within a few minutes too.
I remember one episode where Dot was imagining what happened if a game was lost and the city was like an apocalyptic wasteland. Everyone elses computer must be like that. It's a brutal world they live in.
How is my computer still functioning?

Actually part way through season 3 I think it was season 3, Matrix and AndrAIa come across a system like that. It was kinda creepy.

I never really got that as a kid, either, but now that I'm older, I think it has to do with them being ghosts in the machine, if you will. Little bits of code that really aren't supposed to be there, residing in memory, which is why when a game cube comes down, it traps a section of the city, meaning it takes up a block of memory, and if the user wins, that section of the city is destroyed and everyone is turned into Nulls. The memory gets garbage collected correctly, in other words.
