Another great 90s cartoon that needs to make a return. Use to watch it all the time back in the day.

And I'll just go ahead and state outright that I never got that into the show. I mean, sure it was cool, but I HATED the little girl (Specifically, I hated the line "Keen gear", which meant about half her lines). The fact that she was always such a major focus kinda killed the appeal.

If the show had been "Darkwing Duck is awesome but inept, let's do a BatmanTAS clone" show, it would've been great and I'd swear it off as the greatest cartoon ever.

Man... I love Darkwing Duck.

It's one of the very few cartoons I really liked.

Since I just went all fangasm whenever it was mentioned in the BW vs Gargoyles thread I thought I'd poke my head in.

It was the best show.

it somehow both spoofed and deconstructed the super-hero genre. In many ways he was the most realistic of batman-esque heros. Although deep down he fought for justice and all that it was mainly an ego trip for him. Thus giving reason for dramatic enterances and one liners. Then of course also pointing out how incredibly counter-productive that is.
