So it looks like Marge Simpson will be gracing the cover of Playboy this month.

Marge and her pile of bright blue hair are set to grace the cover of the November issue of Playboy. It will hit the newsstands October 16.

Marge isn't going to bare all, though, as the magazine says there will only be "implied nudity" in the 3-page pictorial.

New CEO Scott Flanders says the idea is to attract readers in their 20s to a magazine where the average reader's age is 35.

Anyway this plus news for Bristol Palin's baby-daddy gearing up for his big Playgirl shoot leaves one to wonder, have we really run out of sex symbols in America? Are we really at the point where a cartoon mother and an Alaskan who's claim to fame is knocking up a Palin is all we have left to glamorize?

This don't mean a thing as long as they don't put her on the centerfold and add an extra page to it.

She's getting a three page pictorial spread. Also as it's noted the plan is to use her to draw in the 20's crowd. Apparently the 20's age group wants to see naked Marge?

Wasn't Bloodrayne in one of these magazines? This at least seems a bit more mainstream pop culture.

Also I'm under the impression it's for a joke effect, not actual titillation (not a shout out to the hentai fans with its only implied nudity.)

It'd be funnier if they somehow incorperated it into the show.

This Sunday on The Simpsons....Marge gets a call from the Playboy Mansion....guest starring Hugh Hefner....

She already posed topless for Springfield once already.

I think they've had at least one episode with Hugh Hefner guest starring, actually (or if they haven't I would be very very surprised).
